Compared to previous stall owner, the quality and standard drops too much while the price remains the same. The only thing that can still make it is probably the roast pork. So lucky that my family and i had tasted the previous owner's version. Not worth the price paid.
View on GoogleDon’t let the no-frills coffee shop setting fool you—this stall serves up seriously good Hong Kong-style roasted meats that are packed with flavor and easy on the wallet. Every dish I’ve tried here has been consistently tasty, juicy, and well-seasoned, making it a go-to spot for an economical yet satisfying meal. Highlights: 🔥 Roasted Duck (烧鸭) – Crispy skin, tender meat, and just the right amount of fattiness. One of the best I’ve had outside of a proper restaurant! 🔥 Char Siu (叉烧) – Glazed to perfection—caramelized on the outside, moist inside, with that ideal sweet-savory balance. Why It Stands Out: ✔ Value for Money – Generous portions at hawker prices. A full plate with rice and veggies feels like a steal. ✔ No-Nonsense Quality – Focus is purely on the food (as it should be!). No fancy decor, just expertly roasted meats. ✔ Quick & Efficient – Service is fast and straightforward—perfect for a solo lunch or takeaway. Verdict: If you’re craving authentic, wallet-friendly HK roasted meats without the restaurant markup, this stall is a winner. Atmosphere? Basic coffee shop vibes. But when the food’s this good, who cares? A must-try for roast meat lovers!
View on GoogleMust try the Sio Bak here! Really good crunch and marination! We had the Chicken Roasted Pork Rice and Duck Char Siew Rice with Pig’s Stomach Soup and Salted Veg Duck Soup. The meats are tender, crunchy where needed and flavorful especially when paired with their chili. Duck meat is tender but a little on the drier side so you can add sauces to complement it. Adding the light and palatable soups goes well together with the rice to cleanse any oiliness after the meal! Overall a very enjoyable and affordable meal!
View on GoogleLove the soft and delicious char siew because I love my char siew to be a combi of fats and lean meat. This is very nice! Affordable and had quite a few options for Soup. Ordered Old Cucumber Soup and Pig Stomach Soup with Pepper to go with our meal. Love it! Friendly on the wallet and yet so delicious! Must try!!
View on Googleyummy HK style roasted meats. And they truly did not disappoint. I personally enjoy the succulent, juicier version of the Char Siew. Roast chicken was tender & tasteful. We ordered the dbl boiled soups too. Valuable for a complete meal.
