This is an exceptional outstanding restaurant with friendly service and good food.especially good is chicken soup in pot. It is flavourful and light. The veg was nicely fried with bean stick and is not local but tasty. The fried pork rib is also delicious and finally the fried hot fan , it quite unique in taste and very tasty. Overall it’s a good dining experience!

v tasty and enjoyable meal! we liked every dish we ordered, especially the lychee prawn ball. we got a table quickly despite the weekend dinner crowd, while the waiting time for the food to be served was also quite fast. will be back to try the other menu items.

Chicken soup was delicious. Food presentation was impressive. Small gift for children was special. Only area for improvement is that the duck dish had not much duck, a lot of fillers like nuts. It was yummy but will be better if there's more duck

My son Matt says he loves chicken soup, so off into the web I went. The place that popped up was this at Nex. Now I’m no fan of Ma-la. I don’t mind the heat, but I can’t stand the aromatics. Anything that burns but smells like perfume ain’t my thing. But off we went. None of that perfumery here, and the spice was very manageable. The food was excellent. The chicken soup was commendable to say the least, and the fried duck with chilli and garlic was off the charts for us! It’s one of the best Chinese foods we’ve had in a long time, and mind you, we’ve had our fair share of Oriental foods. Paired with great food was equally great service. People here are obviously busy, but Very polite and patient. Why the 4 stars for ambience? It’s noisy and sounds like a wet market in here, and it would have been perfect if people were less noisy in here, but it was all in all a great dinner:)

Food: 4/5 Everything was good, except for the salted egg prawn. Small prawns with thick coating - what I hate the most. There is also an ongoing promotion where for couple of weeks, a particular dish will be on 50% off the retail price. When I was there, it was the mala boiled fish. The dish was definitely worth the value. Service: 5/5 Friendly and proactive Atmosphere: 5/5 Though tables are placed relatively close to each other, it is comfortable enough for each table’s conversations to not disrupt other tables. I will be back!
