Our last visit was a while ago during the snow crab promotion. The snow crab were of great value and of satisfactory freshness. We ordered two chicken ser and one mixed pork set. Prices for the set are very reasonable as well, good place for bbq meats if you’re craving for a bbq meal. They are quite busy during dinner time and especially during weekends. It’s decently ventilated.

Not much of a crowd in this spacious electric grill Yakiniku restaurant. Ordered the 200g Double Karubi Set that comes with seaweed soup, either choice of kimchi or daikon cubes, FOC garlic chilli and rice upgrade to 1.5 volume. The sets were served immediately, however it was disappointing to see the rice was overflowing but not served presentably as it was messy and bits of rice sticking outside of the bowls (rough style) which is not the Japanese norm of presentation. Female staff was industrious in refilling our Ochas. 4 points was given instead of 5 for the Karubi cut, it was so thin slice and after cooking it is thinner than a piece of bacon. Since volume is 200g, it would be more satisfying with a thicker slice. Harami steak tsubozuke did live up to its name for its flavour and tender texture. Overall, the sauces and meat marinate was good. Nothing fancy or special, just a quick protein fix if you happen to pass by.

Big shoutout to Adrian Law, the manager at Yakiniku-Go NEX! His service is top-notch and he is incredibly accommodating. He made us feel very welcome and took great care of us throughout our meal. Highly recommend eating here!

all the service staff were friendly and even though the restaurant was busy at around 12pm, one of the staff even took the time off to explain the flavour of the different sauces as well as the time to cook the mushroom! really appreciate the effort ☺️ their new initiative of ice cream treat was a perfect way to end of my hearty lunch! i hope they continue to serve ice cream after every meal! kudos to all the staff and i will definitely be back for the karubi and ice cream~ 😋
