Tempura udon and only had 2 pieces of shrimp and 1 carrot. That’s all. No sauce for dipping tempura. Partner got the pork katsu and also no sauce for dipping. Feel like sushi tei is a fast food chain with fast food quality food. They might be dying soon? I only ate there because I was gifted vouchers. Saw that other people were paying with vouchers as well. Quality and taste is not restaurant standard.

Visited Sushi Tei Nex at around 5 45pm and looking forward to enjoy nice Japanese food on the weekend. Out of my disappointment with rating below 1) Freshness (salmon sashimi) - 2.5/5 2) food appearance and portion (California Maki with uneveness Tobiko coating and the portion was so pathetic) - 2/5 3) Tempura set with cold soba - portions of the tempura with just 2 pieces of prawn and 1 Brinjal. I compared with the other well known Japanese restaurant( Ichiban Boshi) and they had a bigger portion at similar price. Overall - I'll not recommend you to come to this restaurant

Located on the 3rd level of the mall. Have hard copy menu for us to browse the food and the order was placed using iPad. Wide variety of food available. Food was served fast. Food was good. Up to my expectations. Service was prompt. The cup was never empty, the refill of the tea was done fast. There was a 80 mins dining time limit. You could have the option to return the wet tissue, to deduct the bill. Overall experience was good.

We have a happy experience in this branch while celebrating our friend’s birthday. Special mention to Manager Joanne and her staff were attentive to us and they immediately tend to us when we need something without having to wait long to catch their attention. The staff in this branch were also attentive to other customers. While my friend were chatting with her hand gesturing upwards ( but wasn’t gesturing to the service staff for any request), the staff immediately came over to ask us whether we needed something which the service is exemplary, we feel. That was a funny sight indeed. Hahah! Keep up the good service , Joanne and team! We need more good service staff like this not only in sushi tei but also in other service line where it certainly makes our day after a tough day at work. Life will be happier if everyone can spread a little happiness to everyone!
