Gusta Sourdough Pizza Co. 🍕🌿 Really enjoyed the food here, especially the kale and kombu green pasta. The sauce has a nice savoury, umami depth from the kombu, balanced by the earthy freshness of the kale. A refreshing change from the usual pasta flavours. The sourdough pizza was also good, with a nicely charred crust that was chewy and enjoyable, giving it a great texture. Overall, a nice spot for something a little different from the usual pizza and pasta.
View on GoogleService was great. We reached before the crowd came in and we managed to get outside seating. The staff was pretty attentive and food was served fast for handmade sour dough pizzas. Wonderful place for sourdour lovers. They have some very interesting pizzas like a mala pizza but we had non spicy eaters. Might try it alone next time. Reasonably priced! Taste: 5 cheese pizza 4/5 Smoked Salmon pizza 5/5 Calabrese salami pizza 4/5 Winter melon oolong craft beer 3/5
View on GoogleThe meatball is alittle dry, but tastes ok. Chicken wing is loved by the group. I particularly like the salad and the dressing light yet savoury. Pizza with tomato base is preferred, crust is ok. I must say the strawberry drink is great!
View on GoogleOrdered takeaway on a Saturday night and waited for close to 45mins for 3 pizzas. We ordered three flavours: Parma ham with peach, sour cream bacon, and potato cheese. The sourdough base was nicely done — soft, light, slightly tangy, and crisp on the edges without being too hard, which made the pizzas enjoyable to eat even when cooled! The standout for me was the potato cheese pizza. The flavours were surprisingly unique and comforting at the same time. The creamy texture paired with the cheese worked really well, making it feel indulgent but not overly heavy. Definitely the one I’d reorder. The Parma ham with peach was interesting — the sweetness of the peach balanced the savoury ham nicely, though it leans toward a lighter, more delicate flavour profile. The sour cream bacon pizza was decent, but I felt it lacked a bit of saltiness or punch. The toppings were good, but the overall taste could be improved with slightly stronger seasoning. Overall, a solid sourdough pizza experience with creative flavour combinations. Also, it would be nicer if they could include the chilli oil for takeaways order!
View on GoogleThe pizza arrived with a beautifully blistered, wood-fired crust that was crisp on the outside yet wonderfully light and chewy within. The vibrant tomato base, peppery rocket leaves, and delicate ribbons of premium cured ham came together in perfect harmony. A drizzle of olive oil elevated the flavours without overpowering them, making every slice fresh, balanced and incredibly satisfying. The meatballs were equally impressive. Tender, juicy and generously sized, they were simmered in a rich, slow-cooked tomato sauce that was both hearty and comforting. The melted cheese added a creamy touch, while the fresh herbs provided just the right amount of brightness. It was the kind of dish that feels like authentic Italian comfort food.
