My very first times trying the food from this restaurant was when my colleagues asked if I wanted to have chicken rice as they were going to order takeaway. My very first impressions was that it was okay-ish, probably because the food has cooled down a little But today I came in, trying the chicken noodle soup dining in. The soup is light, refreshing and not salty. Very good 😋 the chicken is very tender and the portion size is decent with quite some bits of mushrooms and egg. Lettuce is fresh and crispy, I liked it!! But wow, once I added a secret ingredient which is the Thai chilli sauce......it elevated the whole dish so significantly. The chilli is really really good and I can't stop adding into the bowl hahahahah 🤣🤣🤣 very tasty, would come back again to takeaway specifically this!!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Go-Ang Chicken Rice! The food was delicious, especially the tender and flavorful chicken paired with fragrant rice. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and served promptly. Thank you, NimNim ( Manager ) and the entire Go-Ang Chicken Rice team, for such a pleasant dining experience. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious chicken rice and top-notch hospitality!

Complaint Regarding Poor Service at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice (NEX) on 5 March 2026 Dear Management, I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the poor service my party experienced at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice at NEX on 5 March 2026 at approximately 7:59 PM. During our visit, we noticed that the eggs served with our meal were slightly burnt. We politely informed the staff and requested for a replacement plate. However, when the second plate arrived, the eggs appeared to be exactly the same as the previous one and were still burnt. When we brought this up to the manager on duty, instead of addressing the issue professionally, she raised her voice and insisted that the eggs had already been changed. She then told us that we could simply request a refund if we were not satisfied. We found this response very unprofessional and unacceptable. As customers, we were only requesting a reasonable replacement for food that was clearly overcooked. Being spoken to in a raised tone and dismissed in such a manner is not the level of service we expect. We hope that your management team will look into this matter seriously and review the service standards at this outlet to ensure that customers are treated respectfully and that food quality issues are handled appropriately. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Had a very nice lunch here, made even better by the amazing service from Lim! She was dressed in a black Polo T, greeted and served us with a huge, genuine smile. Her politeness and attentiveness made us feel so welcome. The chicken rice was very flavourful and the Thai milk tea was the bomb— the perfect sweet treat. The chili wasn't quite what I expected as it lacked heat, but the overall meal was still good.

Donkey and I visited Go Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice for a late lunch and early dinner, arriving around 15:30 on a Sunday. We were drawn to the restaurant by its strong Google rating and the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition held by its original Bangkok stall, eager to try their Thai style Khao Man Gai. Our experience started poorly with the ordering process. We struggled to scan the QR code to place our order, as neither of our devices could connect. It took time to get staff attention, and when we finally spoke to a staff member named May, her initial response was unhelpful. She showed us the QR code worked on her phone, implying the issue was ours, before eventually offering manual ordering. This set a negative tone. The situation worsened when we requested the Half Steamed Chicken drumstick to be left unchopped. May then stated the chicken was boneless, which was confusing and frustrating, as our request clearly meant we wanted the drumstick intact. We ordered the Half Steamed Chicken with two servings of Chicken Fat Rice, along with the Prawn Omelette and Basil Chicken with Kailan. The chicken was tender but less flavourful than Singapore’s top Cantonese style chicken rice. The prawn omelette was acceptable, while the basil chicken had crisp kailan and fragrant herbs but lacked standout quality. The sauces divided our opinion. The Thai style red chilli sauce was not to our taste, as we prefer Singapore’s garlic and ginger based versions. The thick black soy sauce was the highlight, rich and well balanced, pairing perfectly with both chicken and rice. The hot chrysanthemum tea was enjoyable and refreshing. The restaurant is cosy, with air conditioning providing comfort, but service felt insensitive with little awareness of the situation. While the food was acceptable, the overall experience did not live up to the Michelin backed reputation. Food 3/5 Service 2/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Overall 3/5
