Edit: 8 months later and standard of prata has dropped. Curry tasted quite one dimensional, also portion was small for curry. Both pratas egg and plain had nice textures, but just didnt feel as good as when I last had them. Came for an early breakfast at 645am on a weekday morning, ordered the usual 1 egg 1 plain prata ($3.50) and a teh tarik ($1.30). Place was pretty empty Loved the prata - egg prata embodied the fluffiness while the plain exhibited crispiness. To further extend on the duality of this prata experience, I was given fish curry and mutton curry, creating a 2x2 tasting experience. Fish curry had a strong taste while mutton had a more robust, limgering flavour. Both curries were great. The little mutton piece came as a welcomed surprise because of its tenderness. Overall, a great prata spot. No qualms, really.

Unfortunately, my experience this time was extremely disappointing. The staff had a very cold and dismissive attitude, and it felt like they didn’t care at all. When I asked questions, I was basically ignored and received no proper assistance, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I used to really enjoy coming here and have been a regular customer, but this visit completely ruined the experience for me. Customer service is a big part of what makes a place worth returning to, and sadly this time it was terrible. I hope the management takes staff attitude seriously, because I definitely won’t be coming back again.

I stumbled upon Al Sahira Restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try. I was quite hungry and looking for a quick bite, but the wait for my food was longer than expected. I ordered the Purée and Teh Tarik, but had to wait 5-6 minutes for the Teh Tarik to arrive, and another 10 minutes for the Purée. However, the wait was worth it - the Purée was fluffy, chewy, and delicious, with flavorful curry. Despite the slow service, I would definitely come back for more. One area for improvement is the cleanliness - the floor was oily and slippery, which was a concern. Overall, great food, but attention to cleanliness and speed of service would elevate the experience.

Had a late night supper there with the bros. The pratas and murtabak are cooked freshly and tastes up to standard. The one dish that surprised me was their kambing soup, it has a strong mutton fragrance 羊骚味 which will wake up your weak palate. Highly recommend.

The staff is attentive to needs, order a plain n plaster prata to share n they gave another plate. The prata looks unattractive but taste is crispy. Worth a try if u are near, sun is hot though and shines inside the stall..
