White Restaurant at Compass One feels quite warm inside; they even had to install fans in the dining area to improve comfort while you eat. Food-wise, the crispy fried calamari and the spinach with century egg were both good and are dishes I would recommend ordering here. However, their signature white bee hoon was only average in my experience and didn’t live up to the “must‑try” reputation that this chain is known for. The king oyster mushroom in chili oil was also disappointing from a service perspective – although it’s a simple dish that seems to just be scooped from a large prepared container, it became the last item served, arriving only after several reminders.

08.05.26 lunch $105 for 4 pax / we ordered the $88 set. Sesame chicken, spicy potato leaves, fried calamari (sotong), white bee hoon n desserts. All was good except I did not like the tough frozen sotong while my companions have no complaints.

Firstly, white beehoon had so much oil. There was oil pooling at every point - when we took a serving even after scooping out what we could (at least 15 of the small spoon size from the delivery utensils), but there was still oil pooling even in our bowls. The sweet and sour pork was cold like had not even been warmed up prior to delivery and there was no sweet and sour sauce so I suspect it wasn't even cooked in the wok. What a waste of my money and calories. This is the worst I've had from White Restaurant (same consensus from my family). I would seriously appreciate a refund for this mess. Its so gross that if I were in the store I would've definitely asked the chef to either redo or walk out.

Had a wonderful dining experience at White Restaurant! The dish I ordered was absolutely delicious — full of flavour, fresh ingredients, and very satisfying. I really enjoyed every bite. The service was also very good. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the meal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty food and great service. Will definitely come back again

We enjoyed the yusheng when dining in — generous portion and very good quality. Unfortunately, the takeaway portion for reunion dinner was significantly smaller and quite disappointing compared to our dine-in experience. It was missing crunchy pulled pork, cinnamon powder, pepper and lime. Hope the restaurant can ensure consistency between dine-in and takeaway portions.
