Chanced upon this store when I was shopping one day and decided to come and give it a try. have been missing my ipoh food. Horfun dry and soup were both good! The soup had that sweet prawn flavour, glad that it was replicated well here. the noodles were smooth and portion was good. indo curry rice was delicious too. the curry was fragrant and its nice that it came with lady finger and salted egg. unique! egg tart was pleasant too, the pineapple lava hidden under the egg made it less jelat. the fried basket was also done really well. clean oil, fried perfectly and not dry. was fun to eat with all the different textures.

Lunch today at Shanchengsg Compass one outlet. Food was good, truly enjoyed the ipoh shredded chicken horfun. The Yuan Yang Peng was fantastic too😍😍😍😍😍 Chendol was decent. Couldn't order the signature kaya butter toast because the toaster was down. Guess there is a reason to head back soon 🤭🤭🤭 Will give the last 🌟 after I try your kaya toast. Let me know when it's available. Thanks

Char Kway Teow and Char Siew noodles could be better. Meat is a bit dry. Char Kway Teow portion is little compared to prices in the area. But service is great. The uncle in red uniform is really helpful in putting in the order for us (Grab Dineout has 15% off). The auntie also regularly cleans tables and makes sure everything is in place. Will definitely go back there mostly because of the service, but also hope food quality can be improved, to match “Ipod authentic level”.

The food was extremely average and nothing to shout about. The hor fun tasted like just regular hor fun. Can give it a skip if you have craving for authentic Ipoh food. There are much better food available in Compass One.

New tenant at the Sengkang Compass One level 2 next to Encik Tan store, they serve Ipoh Malaysia cuisine. The food tastes just ok not really special. However, I felt that the white coffee and the tea are nice. The dining place is nice and has good atmosphere. Hopefully this stall can last long.
