Many restaurants in Compass One seem to have issues with weak air-conditioning, but the air-conditioning here is excellent and very comfortable. The service staff are attentive. One of the biggest highlights is that they remember every customer’s order and serve each dish promptly as soon as it’s ready. The braised pork rice is still as delicious as ever, with an authentic Taiwanese-style flavour and a good balance of lean meat and fat. They’ve also introduced quite a number of new menu items that are worth trying. Highly recommended!

Good authentic Taiwanese foods no frills. Nice staff to help. Very cozy place. Can get some discounts with grab dine out app. Good filling meal experience just like how Chinese grandmothers made them. @doris.is.me on Instagram IG TikTok TT Lemon8

Went for dinner at about 7.30pm. Ordered salt and pepper deep fried mushroom but the mushroom was not well cooked, you can see the sticky starch on the mushroom which was still moist instead of a crispy coat. Told the staff and all they did in the kitchen is throw the original plate of mushroom back to deep fried again and re-serve to us again. The picture showed this was the original plate of mushroom which the kitchen staff just re-fried and serve to us again instead of frying a new plate of mushroom. After re-fried the starch coating was same still moist and the mushroom now look oily ,dried and hard to eat. The hash brown egg roll was oily, the hash brown was falling apart from the egg roll. Overall dinning was disappointing with the standard of food being served. The food standard had drop and i will not be visiting again with this standard of food.

🇹🇼 🧋🎋 1. For yam fans, Taro Milk is a must try. 2. The shredded Chicken Noodles with sesame sauce is a wonderful ingredients combination with fresh cut vegetables and a nice slice of tangy lime. 3. Chilli paste is hybrid mix with care and goes well with Tuna Crepe along with its unique sweet brownish sauce dip. 4. Taiwan Kimchi is a refreshing cold dish that is non-spicy and friendly on digestion. 5. Tonic Chicken Soup is a warm comfort to nourish the gut-brain mood and boost the body circulatory system with traditional TCM herbs principles. For sharing with friends, can try Tuna Crepe and Taiwan Kimchi. Available for lunch and dinner. Nice deco for group photo-taking. Popular Taiwanese songs playing as lounge music will transport diners to the world of Taiwan cultures and the welcoming warmth of the Taiwanese soul.

Total lack of consistency, poor hygiene, and unprofessional service. I am posting this to highlight the massive drop in standards I experienced on April 23, 2026, at 19:30. I have included two photos to show just how inconsistent the food has become. One photo shows how the dish should be served, and the other shows the overcooked, "anyhow" prepared version I received today. The quality is a gamble, sometimes it’s okay, but today it was over-salted, the greens were mushy, and the kitchen couldn't even understand a simple request for scallions/oil in Chinese. Hidden Fees & Poor service: The wait for my fried chicken was so absurd that I finished my entire meal before it was ready. When I asked to cancel, they claimed a refund would take 3–5 days, so I opted for a takeaway. They then had the audacity to charge me $0.30 for the container. Charging a customer for packaging because your kitchen failed to serve the food on time is unacceptable. Meanwhile, ground staff were walking around peeking at tables because they couldn't remember the order sequence, all while one staff member sat chatting with a non-dining friend during a peak hour. Hygiene Concerns: Most concerning was that none of the cooks were wearing masks while preparing food. Between the lack of hygiene and the unprofessional attitude of the staff on this shift, I will not be returning. Management seriously needs to review the team working the shift.
