Walked in the cafe due to long queue at Ya Kun. The two ladies on the morning shift on 12 May were hardworking. Special shoutout to the short-haired aunty - she was patient, courteous, and took the time to prep and bring the sandwich over to my table herself. It felt like getting a homecooked meal from mum. Warm, fuss-free, and genuine. Ample empty tables available, but the place was a bit warm around 10am. I had a sandwich (cheese+egg+bacon) and a latte for around $12+. If you don’t want to queue and just want to sit down and have someone bring the food to you, give this place a chance.

I was told this outlet isn’t as good as the one at Waterway Point, but I still decided to give it a try — and unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The customer before me ordered just a slice of cake, yet the order took almost 10 minutes because the trainee at the POS had trouble locating the item. When it was my turn, I realised the menu here is different from Waterway Point. The thin flats here are either à la carte or come with a soup, but unlike Waterway Point’s outlet, there’s no option to choose sides like fries or salad. My friend also couldn’t find the same pasta she previously ordered at Waterway Point, so the menu variance is something to take note of. We ordered iced tea but were told they were out of cups, so we were given takeaway cups instead. The food was okay, but portions were small.

I’ve been visiting this outlet every now and then because it’s a nice spot for a healthy lunch and to get some work done. This visit I was pleasantly surprised by my coffee that came with Totoro latte art! It’s such a nice touch.

Finally I can share my awesome experience today. Normally breakfast will be a normal routine for me.. but the breakfast I had with Cedele Compass One today changed that.. The service I got from the lady manager Cherry 🍒 was exceptional. She made my day. Keep up the good work Cherry! and hope to see and experience similar of kind of sincerity and dedication everywhere. Thank you!
