Visit date: 24 Mar 26 Actual rating: 4.0 Most definitely a good alternative to branded toast set places... however, not much savings! The eggs, cracked before serving, came looking pretty close to sous vide* cooked ones, with that requisite white enveloping yolk texture. I could cut into the egg white, as expected. Nice 😀 Toast was properly made with bread that's reasonably thick and wholesome. Not the skimpy kind where a regular slice is halved in thickness; and when you bit into it, you'd be eating crumbs! More than enough kaya was spreaded on, making it a bit too sweet for #MHTamChiak. The amount of butter used was appropriate. Yummy toast, this! 😋 Tea was fragrant, but not hot enough. Overall, a rather high standard toast set to rival the chain store ones 😉 A revisit is unlikely though, as other wallet friendly options beckon lol *I checked and was told them eggs were cooked manually without machine assistance. Meaning the staff has honed their egg cooking skills to the max!
View on GoogleFirst time trying out this eatery. Convenient for those visiting the polyclinic or other facilities in Sengkang CC and needing a quick bite. We came around 11.10am on a Saturday and there were empty seats around. We enjoyed the outdoor seating due to the al fresco ambience. Food-wise, the chicken ham and cheese thick toast was 4-star, but the Chee Cheong Fun was 3-star as quite hard and not nice to eat.
View on GoogleWas here recently and had their laksa. It was not bad, pretty flavourful and I also like the ice lemon tea. The tea was just the right amount of sweetness and had actual lemon slices. I appreciate how strong the ac is! Good service too!
View on GoogleCame during deepaalvali to avoid the long queue and crowd at the mall. This cafe is just a street across if you exit from Starbucks entrance. Order peanut toast set and overall is pretty good. Saw mixed reviews and think that from my experience when you come to such shop, best just to stick to their specialty of drinks and toast
View on GoogleA toast and kopi chain that still feels like your neighborhood coffee spot. The outdoor seating adds to the laid-back vibe. Only tried the kopi and toast, not the main dishes. Rating based purely on the atmosphere, kopi, and toast.
