I come to The Soup Spoon Union Rivervale Mall for their chicken breast regularly and they never fail me. Chef Alson cooks the chicken breast to perfection. The service is always excellent. Highly recommended.

Ordered on Grab a chicken breast kale salad and it was not very fresh. Have always ordered from other outlets but today ordered from Rivervale mall soup spoon. There is a strange smell with the chicken or the salad itself. Veggies are not that fresh as compared to other times where I have ordered but not from this outlet. Might think twice if i have to order from here again.

Soup Spoon is always one of my go to places for a good soup. I highly recommend the seasonal SCS which gets you soup from different regions, e.g last month was Bhutanese soup, and this month is Italian Soup.

Quiet and peaceful spot with hardly any crowd, making it a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. I tried both the mushroom soup and the clam chowder — both were impressively thick, rich, and full of ingredients. You can really taste the quality and generosity in each bowl. Definitely worth the price you’re paying. The staff at the counter were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm place with hearty soups and great service

Had a wonderful dinner here with my family, made even more memorable by the incredible service rendered by Cindy. We accidentally left our receipts at the table, which we needed for a mall promotion. Even though we had already left the restaurant for about 5 minutes and the table had been cleared, Cindy went completely above and beyond for us. When we mentioned it to her, she immediately helped us retrieve them—even when we insisted it was okay and were just checking casually. Cindy was incredibly supportive, helpful, and positive throughout. Outstanding service like this is rare and truly made our day! Highly recommend this place.
