A good spread of halal food all in one place. Had to wait a while to get a table indoors where it's air-conditioned. The $5 Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah was worth it. Chendol was good too. Will be back to try food from the other stalls. 😊👍🏼

Kitty and I were looking for dinner in the Punggol/Sengkang area when a friend from our cycling group recommended this newly opened coffeehood in Sengkang, saying the food was good. We were pleasantly surprised by the space's vibrant ambiance, especially with the air conditioned seating. We chose Makan Melaka based on our friend's recommendation. Initially, Kitty and I wanted the Combo MeleTOP, but we realised it was a portion for four and quite expensive for just the two of us. Instead, I opted for the Ayam Masak (Fried Chicken) for myself, while Kitty decided on the Ayam Berempah. The food was really nice overall, but Kitty and I both agreed that the Ayam Masak (Fried version) was the standout. The tea and coffee in this establishment are also acceptable and above average. On a separate occasion, I visited Mee Bagus for lunch and was quite amazed that they were able to cook a nice bowl of noodles with just chicken even without pork lard. The soup was also nice, a rather agreeable combination with the various ingredients added to the noodles. Within this coffee shop, there's also a pastry section, which sells a lot of nice pastries. Kitty and I will definitely be back to buy some to take home. It's clear that this coffee shop really serves a lot of delicious dishes and I recommend residents staying in the area to come and try it out.

Bought Combo Meletop for $18; the dishes were too salty for my taste, mutton was also not very chewy. Service was good as the server informed the price before purchase. Atmosphere was extremely noisy; both indoor air-conditioned and outdoor fan ventilation seating area, quite congested seating area to move around.

I went to this newly renovated halal café, Nasi Lemak Berlauk Melaka. The place is fully air-conditioned and has plenty of seating. We didn’t have to queue long for our food, which was great. The staff were friendly, professional, and served customers quickly. We ordered three packets of nasi lemak, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. It’s a great spot to visit with family of any size or to hang out with friends.

Overall, great place with variety of food options like western, noodles, seafood dishes, nasi padang, pastries and kuih. Air conditioned with outdoor seating available too. Parking is a slight distance away otherwise u may park opposite and cross over too. Will be back to try more: Chicken chop with aglio olio and lamb chop was flavourful! Nasi padang set with mutton rendang n chicken berempah was great. Must try and affordable! Thai steamed fish (was ok. Not your average thai taste though and not too spicy) kailan from this shop was excellent. Chicken burger - ok
