Just like any food court, impossible to get a seat during meal time, especially on weekends and if you are alone, better to do take away. The usual rice store, prata store, noodles store, western food, drink store, etc, this Kopitiam corner has the Munchi pancake store.

This used to be one of our favourite stalls, especially for their Mala Yong Tau Foo. Even though the ingredients weren’t always the freshest, the food was tasty, well-cooked, and the price was reasonable, so we kept coming back. Today was our first time coming back after a few months, and sadly, it was really disappointing. We’re not sure exactly when the owners changed, but it’s definitely not the same anymore. The food didn’t taste good at all. We actually love 臭豆腐, but we’re very sure we didn’t order any — yet the beancurd pieces and 腐竹we picked had a really strong 臭豆腐-like smell, and not in a good way. Some ingredients also seemed like they hadn’t been kept properly — not fresh and kind of off. And the price? For the same amount of food that used to cost around $20+, we were charged over $30 today. Even more frustrating, the screen that used to show the prices clearly to customers was covered up, so we couldn’t even see how the total was calculated even though they issue the receipt. It’s a real shame, because this used to be our go-to spot. But with the way things are now, we won’t be coming back.

Very very poor package for the coffee take away. Always need pay extra, but all the coffee leaks and pour out when I reached home. Kopitiam Veet improve yr take away packaging if you are charging us for it.

Earlier this evening , while I was ordering a drink, I encountered a female staff member. During the ordering process, she showed clear impatience and spoke in a rude and dismissive tone, demonstrating a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Her behavior made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected as a customer, and it significantly affected my overall dining experience. This is not the level of service that should be expected. I trust that management will take this matter seriously, investigate the incident, and take appropriate action. Staff training on proper customer service should also be reinforced to prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you.

If you do happen to dine here especially at the economic rice store, please beware of the China lady that works there. She is extremely rude, poor attitude and gives miserable portions. When confronted politely she will insist that she’s right and you’re wrong. Even when asked nicely if she could be a bit more generous she will ignore you and serve other customers. She claims her boss’s instructions is to give 4 pieces of meat at max. Note that she gave me almost all taokua instead of meat.
