Always come here for value-for-money comfort food. Had the beef stew, which was delicious as always. The meat was tender and flavourful. Came with a set with soup and drink. The pork chop was tender with a nice sauce. It was seasoned quite well. For the drink, they had a choice of coffee tea or ice lemon tea. I took the kopi si, which was thick enough and not diluted.
View on GoogleHad a very good experience dinning at Hans last night at 9pm. Greeted by friendly staff at the cashier even though it’s close to closing hours and Manager Chua was very attentive with the request of additional meat for my Hor Fan which I paid for an addition.. I had dine at other outlets in town area previously but none can compare to the service and also additional request of my Hor Fan.. Will definitely come back!
View on GoogleSpotted a hair on the garlic bread but the staff denied it, she even joked loudly to attract attention that we had made a mistake when it was obviously a hair. She removed the hair with her bare fingers and not even using a glove before placing it back into the garlic bread container.
View on GoogleI visited this dining place with my family for lunch and ordered an item from the CNY menu. After placing my order and while walking back to my seat, I overheard the chef loudly complaining to his colleagues, saying things like “Why is this item still on the menu? So troublesome to make, who ordered this?” He repeated this several times and spoke very loudly, which was extremely embarrassing as a customer. Although a supervisor reminded him to stop, the chef continued complaining. Later, there was also an issue with my order. I clearly ordered a soya soup base, but the cashier entered it wrongly as ginger soup. When I went to clarify politely, the cashier shouted across the restaurant to the chef, saying that the “customer wants to change order to soya.” This was incorrect, as I never ordered ginger soup in the first place. This again caused the chef to become unhappy and continue nagging and complaining. Overall, the food issue could have been easily corrected, but the way the staff handled the situation—especially the loud complaints and public shouting—made the dining experience very uncomfortable and embarrassing. I hope management can look into staff professionalism and communication, as customers should not be made to feel ashamed for ordering items that are clearly on the menu. Respect goes both ways. I was polite throughout the entire interaction, yet the way i was treated was extremely disappointing.
View on GoogleIt is self service but the place was fairly empty. The Hor fun was bland but the stir fried Hor fun was normal. Honey lemon not too sweet as requested. Overall it is okay for a quick bite😃
