Fresh sashimi and nice selection of seasonal fish. Usually go to the Anchorpoint outlet but this is closer home. Happy to see they have slightly widen the seasonal fish selection and cooking method quite up to standard. Got this seasonal Big Eye Fish and with the size was able to do it different ways (sashimi, grill & soup), more ex than ala-crate but was delicious & fresh 😋 Staff were friendly and provided very prompt service.

Staff Jia Hao service is very good. He is very helpful , attentive and friendly.Prompt response when requested. The only disappointment is that the Tao kama Kara age is sold out at 6pm which is out of my expectation. Nevertheless the service render to us is by Jia Hao is comparable to 5 stars restaurant.

Found a gem at Seletar Mall… I always love jap. Will come back Seletar Mall just for this. The shima hokke was abit overcooked and small in size. Sad that the standard of the grilled fish was not there.

First time here. Thought the fish dishes would be great as it's a fish market, and like you can buy fish and they will slice for you etc. However dishes like barrapachio was so strong in the fried shallots or garlic or something and unable to taste the real fish. Sushi towards soury aftertaste which is not to my liking. Salmon aburi mental no taste. Cold udon no taste to me as well. However, Tempura Udon the broth is not bad, and Tempura prawn and vegetables were fried very well and good. Fried dishes and hot udon are much better here than the cold fish dishes . However these are just my own opinion and not cheap for price paid. Better enjoyment at Sushiro or just go sushi express.

January 2025 - Wanted to have a New Year's Day (1 Jan) meal; it was very crowded, and busy. - By mistake, the fish I ordered was served to the table next to me. - The customers already used a fork to take a piece out of it before the staff realized and took the fish back. - Moments later, the same fish, with the missing portion gouged out by the fork was served to me. - Naturally, I informed the staff about it. They took the fish back to the kitchen. And then served me the same exact fish again. They didn't even bother to make a new one for me. - I am beyond gobsmacked.
