A beautifully presented Japanese dessert that tasted as good as it looked. The soft-serve gelato was smooth, creamy and rich, with a lovely roasted tea flavour that was fragrant without being overly bitter or sweet. It paired perfectly with the red bean at the bottom, which added a gentle sweetness and a satisfying contrast in texture. The generous pieces of warabi mochi were soft and chewy, coated with plenty of kinako and matcha powder. The crispy wafer on top completed the dessert nicely, adding a light crunch to every few bites. The portion was generous and definitely felt more substantial than a typical cup of gelato. Everything worked well together—the creamy gelato, chewy mochi, sweet red bean and crisp wafer created a balanced and enjoyable combination. The presentation was impressive and very photogenic too. A premium Japanese dessert that was worth trying and deserving of five stars!

Went to this dessert shop with the gang for a birthday celebration and it turned out to be a fun and satisfying experience. There’s a wide variety of flavours to choose from, and I went for the hojicha, which had a nice roasted taste that paired really well with the charcoal cone. They also offer waffles, which is a great option if you want something more filling to go with your ice cream. The shop was quite busy around 9pm, so it had a lively atmosphere, though seating might take a bit of patience. Overall, a solid spot for desserts and celebrations.

The atmosphere here is quiet and pleasant. They offer a nice selection of Japanese styled cakes, matcha, tea, and coffee. I found the pricing structure interesting. Apart from the typical 9% GST, they only charge a 5% service charge, which is a nice change from the standard 10% seen at most other places. However, the pricing is slightly on the high side. The item was listed at $7.80, but I paid $8.93 after the final charges. I also have to mention that they provided disposable wooden forks. I disliked the rough texture that it gave when it ran through my lips and tongue, as it spoiled the smoothness of the cheese cake. A regular metal fork would have been much better. Taste: Triple cheese basque cake: 5/5 (Very smooth and tasty) A good place to visit for a treat. I will likely be back.

Ordered takeaway from this outlet on 23 May around 7pm and was served by a short-haired cashier. Initially, I ordered only the dark chocolate crepe, but before making payment, I requested to add a matcha tiramisu to my order. Unfortunately, her attitude came across as rude, and the way she responded did not feel polite or customer-friendly. After placing my order, I waited for more than 15 minutes for my takeaway cake. I then noticed that my receipt was still left on the table and had not even been placed into the preparation queue. I approached another male staff member, who quickly helped to pack my order. I believe the cashier may have forgotten about my order or did not bother to check, despite me standing there waiting for quite a while. I also observed her interactions with other customers, and the way she spoke consistently came across as having a poor attitude. Please provide proper customer service training and remind the staff about basic manners and professionalism when serving customers.

Dropped by after walking around, looking for a cafe to sit in for a while. There’s Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf around, but I wanted to try something a little less mainstream this time. This outlet has only a few tables, and it was almost full even on a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon. You can order via QR code on the table, or directly over the counter like I did. Regardless of which method you go for, food will be handed over to you at your table, a notable difference against most cafes. I chose a Kurogoma (black sesame) matcha cake to go with my large Matcha latte. They were served mere minutes after my order, despite a sign saying handmade drinks take a moment to prepare. The cake was absolutely delicately made up. Fluffy matcha sponges interlaced with foamy black sesame cream, both neither too sweat nor too bland. The top layer was peppered with shiny gold-like dust, a minor detail that made the experience quite luxurious. Unfortunately, it was slightly frozen in the middle, and even worse, served with a disposable wooden fork, which in my opinion completely mismatches the class the cake itself represents. I would happily accept the disposable fork for a takeout, but not dine in. Same for the matcha latte, which came in a takeaway paper cup - I was expecting a proper china one. The drink itself tasted good, though not enough to redeem the overall experience. All these would be fine if they were cheaper, but I paid good money for the duo. The latte, in particular, cost $7 (excluding GST) - it is hard to justify paying close to 10 for a drink in a paper cup. Overall, I don’t regret dropping by, but I’m unlikely to patronise again without any improvements in the serving setup or price adjustments.
