Please note that this review is specifically written on Thai Empire in Koufu @SKGH. Been craving Thai Food and thought to give it a try. Came during lunch hour, there was 2 pax before me. They are not on the Koufu app so no 10% discount. Well, the lady that took my order is not rude per say but not friendly either. Waiting time from order to the buzzer beep was about 18 mins. Ordered a pineapple seafood fried rice ($7.80) and an add-on clear tom-yum ($2.50). The fried rice came with 2 prawns and a piece of fried chicken, both clearly frozen. That’s all (period). For $7.80, I think they can do better. On the other hand, I’m glad to have ordered the soup. Though only had 1 squid, 1 sliced fish and soup mushrooms, $2.50 is a fair price. I faintly remember they were orginally located in Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre which is a stone throw away. Their prices there were higher and I hesitated to try back then. Well, looking back, I think I should have just listen to my inner self.

This drink stall in this Koufu is truly one of Singapore’s hidden gems. The value is simply unbeatable — their Kaya Toast Set at just up to $2.90 is the cheapest I’ve come across anywhere on the island, even compared to many coffee shops and food centres in heartland HDB estates. What really sets this stall apart, however, is the exceptional service. The staff go above and beyond to make every customer feel welcome. They remember their regular patrons’ preferences, greet them warmly every morning, and often start confirming customised orders the moment they see familiar faces approaching. That level of personal attention is incredibly rare these days. It’s refreshing to find a business that combines affordability, consistency, and genuine hospitality so well. The food and drinks are great, the prices are amazing, and the staff make every visit feel like coming home. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast and an even better start to the day! ☕🍞👏

Was at the Koufu food court in Sengkang General Hospital and decided to try Hua Zai Ampang Yong Tau Foo 华仔安邦酿豆腐 for a quick lunch. 🍜 Always love a good bowl of Yong Tau Foo — especially when paired with that chilli sauce + sweet sauce combo. 🌶️ One thing I really enjoyed here was the free flow of yellow beans to add into the bowl — small touch, but definitely one of my favourites. And of course, cannot forget the sprinkle of sesame seeds on top of the noodles… simple but shiok. Overall, still a passable bowl of YTF. If you’re around and craving something light and comforting, can give it a try. 👍 #YongTauFoo #AmpangYTF #SengkangGeneralHospital #Koufu #HospitalFood #SGFoodies #SingaporeEats #FoodieSG #ComfortFood #HawkerFoodSG #InstaFoodSG #SimpleEats #mealsphotos

This coffeeshop offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels both comfortable and refined. The space is pleasant without being overly formal, making it ideal for a relaxed meal. The star of the menu is the nasi Padang. The rendang is tender and deeply flavorful, the gulai is rich yet balanced, and the sambal adds just the right amount of heat. Each dish is prepared with care, showcasing authentic Indonesian flavors at their best. Service is friendly and attentive, rounding out an experience that is both satisfying and memorable. A visit here is not just about eating—it’s about enjoying a truly delicious take on nasi Padang in a setting that makes you want to return.

Jin Jialat. Shd have read the review in the Thai empire before I ordered. Ordered the $6.80 basil chicken. 33.33% of the meat are fats. Picture showed pine apple. There is none. Not that I die die need it, more like I felt they could have been more forth coming and not create false advertising. The utensil standard seems to suggest that the intention of water / detergent stained cutlery can help one to build better immune system to what knows are in the stains cutlery, resulting in a strong body so that u Don’t have to come back to the hospital.
