Service Staff Eileen was kind, polite and attentive. It was a surprise when we were paying our bills, she helped out to take out food to our table. The kitchen staff was also attentive to our needs. The food is tasty

The udon was very average — the texture was lacking and nowhere near what good udon should be. The Niku udon beef soup was overly salty, to the point where it overwhelmed everything else. As for the ontama bukkake udon, the sauce was just sweet with very little depth or flavour. The tempura was a big disappointment. Despite being well displayed on the counter and the shop having just opened (so you’d expect it to be freshly fried), it was cold and hard. The jumbo kakiage was basically just lots of carrots, nothing special at all. The prawn tempura was heavily battered to make it look much bigger than it actually was. Honestly, nothing here comes close to what you’d get in Japan — even a simple neighbourhood udon shop does it far better. If I had a choice, I wouldn’t eat here again.

We always enjoy dining here! Chef Thing and Eileen are incredibly warm and welcoming. They remember their regular customers, always greet us with a smile, and love to joke around, which makes every visit feel so personal. Their attentive service and genuine hospitality really stand out. It’s the little touches that keep us coming back. Highly recommended for both the delicious food and the wonderful service! 🤩
