I’ve always wondered why this unassuming shop has such great reviews on Google Maps - and I regret not trying it earlier!! I ordered the Glutinous Rice & Taro Beancurd - and this is now my favourite beancurd! It has this beautifully thick mouthfeel that feels almost creamy, and just veryyyy slightly sweetened at 0% sugar and doesn’t taste savory. The taro and sweet potato balls are super chewy, also lightly sweetened, and you can definitely taste the natural ingredients. And then there’s the brown sugar glutinous rice soy milk - never knew this combination would taste so good?? The glutinous rice transforms the soy milk into this thick, creamy, almost luxurious texture, and the natural sweetness from the glutinous rice mixture alone was all it needed. (I opted out of the brown sugar btw) Highly recommend!!
View on GoogleI’ve been buying from them since the start. Their soy milk is really good. It doesn’t have that “beany” taste that some places have. Also you can tell that they really take pride in what they do, because everything is freshly made. My favourite is the hot and sour tauhuay. It’s a Saturday special but it’s very often sold out or not available, so it makes me very happy whenever I can get hold of this rare Pokémon haha
View on GoogleChilled Beancurd & Grass Jelly The Highlights: Chilled Beancurd: Incredibly smooth and silky. I found that the normal sugar level complements the beancurd perfectly without being overpowering. Taro Balls: The flavor is spot on, though they lean more towards a softer texture. If you prefer a very "QQ" (chewy) bounce, these are a bit milder, but still a great addition to the bowl. Grass Jelly Drink: I’ve tried this with less sugar before—it’s refreshing, not too sweet, and feels very "cooling," making it the perfect follow-up to a meal. Value: At $3.30 for the beancurd with taro balls, the value is excellent. Verdict: A solid, affordable spot for a traditional dessert fix!
View on GoogleBeancurd comes with a choice of soya milk or sugar syrup and your choice of sweetness level. If it tastes plain at first, the sugar syrup might be at the bottom. Beancurd was soft and it was filled to the brim ❤️ They also accept various payment options including credit card.
View on GoogleShop owner is super friendly, and their beancurd is super refreshing! Great for after a swim, craving for something sweet and nourishing. They have many innovative flavours as well. I got beancurd and aiyu with mangoes which I customised my own. Definitely worth a try, all the ingredients are handmade as told by shop owner
