A good old school place with a nostalgic kampung atmosphere. There are two food stalls here, a Muslim stall and a Chinese stall, both serving mixed veg rice. The muslim stall is very popular, with at least 10 people already queuing even before lunch(10-20min waiting time). Prices are reasonable, not particularly cheap but not expensive either. The beef rendang was good. If you are in a hurry, the chinese uncle stall is a better choice as the queue is much shorter. There is also a drinks stall run by a chinese aunty. I tried the kopi c and less sugar, and it was not bad at all, not overly sour or watery. Payment Method: No card payment. Pay by PayNow using mobile number transfer or PayNow QR, otherwise bring cash. The indoor seating area can be quite stuffy and humid, recommend sitting outdoors if possible. There were a few flies around, but nothing excessive. The tables could also be cleaner. Some of the plastic chairs are showing their age, with soft plastic and slightly flimsy legs. Be careful when choosing a chair, especially if you have young children who is cant stop moving around, or if you are dining with elderly family members. Pick a sturdy one before sitting down. There is a toilet available, although it is fairly basic and could be cleaner. Parking is also very limited as the car park is extremely small. Overall, the food is reasonably good for the price, and the nostalgic kampung atmosphere gives this place plenty of character. It is not a modern or polished dining environment, but that is part of its charm and experience in Singapore. Important: The place is closing soon, with the last day of operation on 18 September 2026. If you enjoy traditional local mixed rice and old school kampung style places, it is worth visiting before it closes and become a history.
View on GoogleI gave all 5 stars due to personal preference. Place is nostalgic, not very clean, but acceptable, as it should be. Surprisingly no houseflies around, unlike Malaysia Kampong coffeeshop. 2 thumbs up for the Malay stall. Best Nasi lemak ever.. fragrance of pandan and perfect blend of coconut jinxed. All Singaporean should visit it before it is tear down for others development.
View on GoogleNo photos and videos at Boh Geh canteen allowed. The food from the Malay stall is excellent! The beef rendang is super tender. I love it! And food prices are really affordable too! I would highly recommend you to come and eat here! But pls don’t take photos, else the auntie will scold you, and you deserve it!
