Love the service here esp from Ms Sunny Li… and cosy atmosphere. Food is great too! Was drizzling and Sunny sheltered us to our vehicle. Her warm character and smile makes dining here enjoyable as she chats with us.

First time trying out this restaurant. The ambience was awesome. The Chinese oldies played really brought us back to the 1970s and the 1980s. Even the interior decor was matching. Food-wise, we generally enjoyed the food. I especially liked the Lemongrass Chicken and the Kueh Pie Tee! Ps: Live band on Saturday nights :)

Brightly lit interior in a black and white colonial house. Service was prompt and attentive. We tried the individual sets and the nasi lemal burger and lemongrass chicken stood out. Menu was a bit limited so hope to see more items added in future.

visit dated on last week of July 2026. The restaurant ambience looks antique and gorgeous, especially the golden shining chairs, with retro songs. We reserved a table, just beside a mini stage but only performing on Saturday. We ordered 4 dishes and a dessert. 1st dish - kueh pie tee. Normal for the taste and price quite ex for the price of 4 pics. 2nd dish - Sambal Okra. 👍 Can say generous serving for this dish as large portion of sambal covered on top of the Okra and not oily too. This dish suit our taste just right for us, not oily not salty. 👍 3rd dish - Otak 👍 The texture thick and firm although slightly pricy but worth to try for the taste. 4th dish - Sambal chicken This dish tasted like the korean style of deep fried chicken then stirred fry with sambal chilies. We maybe used to have the traditional way of cooking the chicken with sambal but not deep fried style, although the skin was crispy and the serving looked good. For the dessert - chendol.👍 They have add on jackfruit and dried coconut flakes compared to those outside normal chendol so made this dessert looks outstanding! Conclusion: will be back again for other dishes as their service fast and good, generous serving of crackers with sambal is free that other restaurant don't do that!

Great brunch dining experience! Arrived at 10.30am on Sunday and was the first customer there till the next table came in at around 11.30am. It can't be emphasized enough how rare it is to be able to slowly dine with great food, great service, and comfortable ambience without any crowd in jam packed Singapore. It isn't mentioned in the menu, but the full menu is already available once the restaurant opens at 10am on weekends, not just the breakfast menu. This means we are able to eat a whole host of peranakan dishes for brunch! Also, we were able to park just few steps away from the entrance, making it very convenient to bring elderly family members here to dine. The belinjo crackers with sambal paste was delicious. The sambal paste wasn't very spicy so I could pair this yummy paste with every dish. The fruits rojak focused more on the fresh fruits and crispy crab sticks and used a light paste/gravy, so we enjoyed the rojak without being overwhelmed by the paste. The highlights were the duck curry and the crisp prata, each prata the size of the palm of my hand. Would definitely reorder the duck curry and replace the rice with prata again! Prata was crisp on the outside and just right on the inside. Just the right thickness to dip in the fragrant duck curry. The chicken and duck meat were all tender and fell off the bone easily. I could separate all the meat easily into the bowl and toss the bones before starting on the meal.
