Breakfast set poorly prepared. Thin spread, tough bread. Ntuc, kofu selling at about the same price is way better. Better to eat at home too.
View on GoogleA newly opened coffeeshop (25/09/2023) at Waterway Sunrise II Punggol. There are at least 9 stalls selling Mixed Rice, Kuey Chay, White Noodles, Indian food, Braised chicken rice and noodles, Chinese dishes with porridge and rice, Wanton Noodles, Vietnamese Rojak and bread, Beverages hot and cold. The Wanton Noodles stall is highly recommended. The coffee O is selling at $0.90 per cup; cheapest that I could find. The rest of the stalls are at higher pricing. There are parking facilities very nearby.
View on GoogleQuite some variety interested to try, may need a few visits to try them out.. So far... Wonton Noodles not bad, portion of ingredients ok. Maggie goreng cannot, oily is usual but no taste.. Batang fish soup with Mee Hun Kueh not bad with ikan billis, fish fresh and nice, but fried egg got chao tar smell though doesn't look like, not much egg fragrance but $1 add on was generous.. sadly there is a small insect in the soup realised when finishing 😭.. I guess it's a passer by that fells into the soup 😂..
View on GoogleI want to say I miss the old ban mee, this new stall ubi 350 mee pok and mee tak mak that I ordered was so spicy that's the only flavor that's is for the whole bowl. I know the stall is called 泰姐辣椒面 but still really disappointed if elderly people or young kid want to eat is very difficult for them. Need some improvement. (no.6 mee pok dry $5.80)the ingredients only have pork slice and meatball. (No.6A mee tak mak dry $5.80) only have pork liver and meatball. Other bak chor mee stall at least have fishball, meatball, pork liver, mushroom and fishcake for only $4.80 Would not recommend to others But can try the porridge that's is right beside the economy rice the porridge is nice and affordable. Really would recommend that.
View on GoogleThis new-ish coffeeshop started out with a lot of promise. The concept renovation gave it a fresh vibe, and it originally featured some exciting options like Vietnamese food, a well-known chicken rice stall, and Tanjong Rhu wanton mee. Sadly, most of those stalls didn’t last beyond the first few months—only the wanton mee is still hanging on. Food-wise, it’s still better than some other spots nearby, but service and hygiene really bring the place down. The staff across the board aren’t the friendliest, and the cleanliness is a major issue for me. Trays are often oily, stained with old chilli sauce and grease, and it feels like they’ve been wiped (if at all) with dirty cloths. Honestly, it’s pretty off-putting. I gave the new Thai sister noodles stall a shot, and while the flavors packed a punch—spicy and oily in a bold way—the overall experience was let down by greasy utensils that didn’t feel clean. It’s disappointing, because this place had potential. But until they get their hygiene standards up, I won’t be coming back.
