Economical rice no longer economical . Not the price but the portion getting lesser and lesser And the broccoli that I ordered supposed to come with sliced hot dog. Maybe the staff keep for themselves for dinner. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Passed by and saw the long queue at Basil King 🇹🇭 so queued up to tried out. Ended up waiting for 1.5 hours but worth the wait. Heard from the owners that this is their 3rd day. The meat was fresh and tasty and the semi cooked sunny side up was just the best pairing with rice. You get to choose you level of spiciness as well 🌶️ In all, a good addition to the area 👍🍀

Visit date: 21 Nov 2025 Actual rating: 3.0 Just tried laksa at the new noodle stall called Mian Ba. Terribly expensive: $5 for beehoon with just 3 wedges of taupok and half an egg. Nothing else!? Ok, found 2 strips of fishcake underneath the vermicelli 😆 More importantly, the taste is not there 😞 Gravy not lemak, so much so that beehoon didn't soak up* any of it. Unusual? 🤔 No wonder when I first visited this newly renovated coffee shop a few days back, the queues were at the roast meat and chap chai png stalls. Hardly anyone ate noodles! As they say, once bitten... *For an idea, give the (lemak) laksa at E.A.T @Compass One basement a go 😉

The roasted meat stall is good, price & portion reasonable,staff helpful & friendly. Cai fan stall is the best,good variety, reasonable prices & friendly staff.

food is worse after renovation works. prawn noodles is rated singapore best food but is tasteless and expensive. duck meat stall quality is even worse than the one before. haven't tried zichar. the only things that seem decent are the indian food and drink stall dim sum and kaya toast set
