If you’re craving truly authentic Chinese noodles and comfort food that tastes like it came straight from a local kitchen, Wen Zhang Lao Mian is an absolute must-visit. From the first bite, the noodles deliver that perfect balance—springy, flavorful, and cooked with real care. The texture is spot-on, and every slurp is satisfying, not just filling. What really stands out is how authentic the Chinese cuisine feels overall. The dishes are well-seasoned, taste genuinely homemade, and have that rich, comforting depth you don’t always find at mall eateries. Whether you’re a noodle enthusiast or just want a delicious meal that feels authentic, this place nails it. Service is friendly and the food consistently comes out fresh and hot. I’ll definitely be coming back—this is now one of my go-to spots for comforting, authentic Chinese noodles. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleI had an amazing experience at **Wen Zhang Lao Mian 文章捞面 (Waterway Point)**. From the moment I walked in, the place felt welcoming, and the food lived up to the promise of *real* Chinese comfort cooking. The **noodles** were the highlight—fresh, perfectly springy, and full of flavor with every bite. You can genuinely tell they’re made with care and cooked just right. The texture was spot-on: chewy but not heavy, and paired beautifully with the savory sauce and toppings. Overall, the **authentic Chinese cuisine** really shone through. The flavors were rich and balanced, not watered down or overly sweet, and each dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Whether you’re craving a satisfying bowl of hand-pulled-style noodles or want something comforting and traditional, this is absolutely a go-to. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Chinese food—the **quality, taste, and noodle texture** make it a definite returning spot!
View on GoogleWe had a wonderful dining experience at 文章捞面! We ordered the Sauerkraut Fish, Chilled Sweet & Sour Pork, Three Cup Chicken, and Beef Skewers. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The Chilled Sweet & Sour Pork was especially unique and refreshing. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!
View on GoogleI had a great meal at Wen Zhang Noodle in Waterway Point! The seafood noodles were the highlight of my visit. The bowl was generously filled with fresh prawns, squid, fish, and clams, making every bite satisfying and worth the price. The broth was rich, flavourful, and comforting, while the noodles had a nice springy texture that paired perfectly with the seafood. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was generous. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re craving a hearty bowl of seafood noodles in Punggol, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll be back to explore more of their menu!
View on GoogleI came to Wen Zhang Lao Mian (waterway point Mall B2) for the braised noodles, but I ended up falling in love with almost everything we ordered. The Seafood Braised Noodles were incredible. The noodles absorbed all the rich seafood gravy and were so flavorful. They’re also having a 50% off promotion now, which makes it an even better deal. The biggest surprise was definitely the Mashed Green Pepper with Century Egg. I’ve tried making this dish at home countless times, but I could never recreate this flavour. It was so addictive that I couldn’t stop eating it. The Stir-fried Pork with Green Peppers and Garlic Vermicelli Prawns were also fantastic. Every dish tasted freshly cooked and full of wok aroma. I honestly thought this place was only famous for its noodles, but their stir-fried dishes were just as impressive. Definitely one of my favourite Chinese restaurants now, and I’ll be back for more! ⭐️
