Reliable Dim Sum & Great Desserts! Dropped by Tim Ho Wan for a casual meal, and it overall delivered a solid dining experience. As you can see from the clean table setup photo, they keep the dining area quite pristine and ready for guests. The restaurant itself has a lively, bustling indoor atmosphere with distinctive woven pendant lights making it a comfortable spot for families or a quick bite. Food Highlights: Yangzhou Fried Rice with Shrimp ($12.90): this was a massive portion! It was fluffy, packed with plenty of egg and greens, and made for a great, filling main dish. Desserts: The real surprise of the night was the dessert selection. The Tangerine Peel Red Bean Soup with Glutinous Rice Ball ($4.30) had a beautifully subtle, comforting citrus aroma, and the Peach Gum, Goji Berries & Coconut Dessert ($4.30) was incredibly refreshing and not overly sweet. We also ordered the classic Fried Taro Dumplings ($6.90), Steamed Sponge Cake ($5.30), and paired it all with a chilled Black & White Hong Kong Milk Tea ($4.20). You can check out our full receipt breakdown, the total came out to SGD $45.44, which is pretty reasonable for the variety and quality you get. Service was efficient since ordering is done digitally. Definitely a dependable spot when you are craving some comforting Hong Kong flavors!

The original intention was to have har kao and siew mai. It started spiraling and we ended having Spanish pork, pork porridge, strange looking cheong fan that wrapped the you tiao, chai tao kueh, mango pomelo dessert and drinks. We worried that we would not finish but we did. I liked the meal. It was filling tasted great. Nice bite and texture for the dim sum. Unique tasting cheung fun because the skin was purple and it had a Hawthorne sauce for a dip. The BBQ pork very juicy and nice with crazy sauce. Went well with rice. The radish cake was fried in with lots of egg, prawn and other unidentifiable stuff. But had a crunch and went well with the congee which came loaded with pork, shredded scallop? and was already flavor full on is on. The chili for the dim sum nice and spicy with a slight sour to make it punch. Nice meal totally enjoyable. It was a lot for 2 people but...
