The space was a bit cramped, and the person sitting behind us accidentally knocked their sauce plate, causing it to fall onto us. The seats were also not very comfortable as they were quite low and seemed to have been worn down from being used by many people. The sushi was quite affordable, with decent quality, and was delivered quickly to us via the conveyor belt.

Let me explain the core issue: Sushiro as a franchise seems to have a serious QC problem — at least at this location. The biggest complaint is that the shari (sushi rice) is noticeably different from other branches. The rice grain size is different, the seasoning is off, and the texture is hard and dry — more like cold leftover rice than freshly pressed shari. My suspicion is that they're using the conveyor belt system to serve rice that's been sitting and circulating for a while, rather than preparing it fresh per order. The sushi that arrives at your table may not have been made moments ago — it could have been going around the belt for some time. For a chain that built its reputation on freshness and consistency, this is a fundamental failure.

My kids love coming here so we come here almost every week. I like the variety and the different promos they have every few wks even though I'm not a sushi fan particularly. For example today we tried their fish curry udon and it was really good, great curry taste and springy udon. Portion size is quite inconsistent, sometimes the nigiri is a lot bigger and sometimes a lot smaller. We still like it though. Price point is great for the variety you can get. One thing, their receipt allows you to fill in a survey for a $1 coupon. The receipt itself says the survey expires in a month, but the fine print says it expires in 7 days. In fact I am here today 29 Aug which is 7 days after our last visit on 22 Aug and it already says the code is expired. Sushiro really should fix this, it's misleading for customers.

The glare of the spotlight was way too intense, and their AC seemed to be down. Was sweating super intensely and it really spoiled my appetite (No, I didn't get any spicy food). See picture for the store's own thermometer
