Had a really enjoyable dining experience here! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was well prepared and nicely presented, and the portions were satisfying too. The service was another highlight, I would like to commend Catherine. She was memorable for being extra friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and made it a great place to enjoy a meal to end off the weekend. I’d be happy to visit again and recommend to others!! Hopefully I’ll see Catherine again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

3.5/5 Stars! Kuriya Japanese Market (Waterway Point): Quick, Convenient & Crowd-Free Japanese Lunch Kuriya Japanese Market at Waterway Point is a great option for a quick and convenient lunch, especially if you're looking to avoid crowds. During our recent lunch break, Sou Sou and I grabbed a Jumbo Ebi Fry Udon, Salmon Teriyaki, and two Chawanmushi sets (one with miso, one with chix). The total came to $34.60. While the food didn't have a 'wow' factor, it was still quite nice and satisfying for a fast meal. If you need a reliable and speedy lunch spot, Kuriya is worth checking out. Ratings: • Food: 3.5/5 Stars (Nice & Satisfying, but not exceptional) • Speed/Convenience: 5/5 Stars (Quick and crowd-free) • Value: 3.5/5 Stars (Reasonable)

Halfway through my gyu stamina don in teriyaki sauce and struggling to finish. The sauce is just crazy sweet. Even sweeter than a dessert! What made it even worse was the large amount of sauce that was added. Sashimi is passable if I'm not being picky. Salmon slice atop sushi is ridiculously thin. It was so thinly sliced that the sashimi came apart (2nd photo). And the rice has a stiff, almost plastic-like texture. Even the supermarket ones are better. Not worth the money spent. Not patronising again.

Beef teriyaki still nice. Salmon yakiniku also. Only the sauce is a bit too sweet for me. Side dish is good. I like the japanese sweet potato, the rice and the egg roll.. service is good. Tried chicken katsu curry today, chicken is too thin almost cant taste it.. Oh, miso soup is too salty for me.. too much soy sauce(?)..

Udon is ok, but the rest of the ingredients not fresh, fish cake to soft . Taste average only. The rest of items I ordered, potato salad n inari kani mayo taste horrible, totally un eatable, tasteless n not fresh. Has an unpleasant smell. Staff also rude not not helpful, perhaps they need more training n counselling. Would not visit this restaurant again.
