Ordered a bento set from I Love Taimei as it had been years since I last had their food. I went with the original chicken cutlet, which was decently crispy and had a fairly good batter, but it used thigh meat, which I’m personally not a fan of. The tofu fries were my favourite out of everything I tried. The milk tea was okay but tasted rather diluted, while the pomelo apple tea was refreshing after all the fried food. I think I’ll still stick to my usual Taiwanese chicken cutlet place.

During my recent visit, I encountered a staff member who was noticeably rude and dismissive in their tone and attitude. As a regular customer who enjoys your drinks and food, I was quite surprised by this experience. Why the cheese powder on my shake shake fries so little? It is literally none there…. can I refund ? And taimei is not as affordable as last time 1-2 year back. So to get this kind of food level is not acceptable la please.🙏 Please help Also the mala powder so little too. The previous tike i ate this set was okay which was like >6months ago

Love Tai Mei! The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely make you feel welcome. They’re quick to check in without being intrusive, and it makes the whole experience so much more pleasant. Great food and great service. Will definitely be back!
