The manager is discriminating! Last time no problem. Very horrible atmosphere, got chase out by the manager, telling us we are not welcome if we bring our furkid, unless we isolate ourselves in the corner that comes with old pots, broken table, near the toilet. Do you do the same to kids? Do you do the same to smoker? It's illegal to smoke in restaurant in Singapore This is a pet friendly building, if you want to be nasty to furkids, get out let other restaurants take over! We don't welcome such restaurant.😡
View on GoogleWhether buffet or à la carte, the food was fresh, and the seasoned dishes were flavorful. There were three different chili options: the spicy one packed real heat, while the special chili offered a nice balance of sweet and spicy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with friendly, smiling staff. But lowering the music volume would have made it even better.
View on GoogleThe atmosphere is nice, and there are many dipping sauces to choose from. The food tastes good, but the price is quite high for the quality. The service is a bit slow because there are not many staff.
View on GoogleSiam Square Mookata offers a casual Thai-style BBQ steamboat experience just a short stroll from the seaside, making it a convenient spot for a laid-back meal after a day by the water. While the setting is simple and the ocean breeze adds a nice touch, the food is fairly average—meats and seafood are decent but lack standout freshness or flavor, and the broth could use more depth. The mookata concept is fun for groups, and the affordable prices keep it accessible, but don’t expect an exceptional culinary experience. Service is efficient, though the place can feel cramped when busy. An okay choice for a quick, fuss-free mookata fix, but not a destination for memorable dining.
View on GoogleVisited with my family of 6pax on a saturday evening about 7pm Managed to get a table without having to wait. The queue came later though. We went for ala carte orders for our dinner. Given a list of menu items to write the quantity of food items that we wanted. Also ordered thai tea tower for sharing, thought it was a great idea. Food items were served within 10mins of ordering. Enough time for the kata to be hot and the soup boiling. Food items did not have smell foul. All tasted alright. During course of meal, we also added more food items which was ordered through the staff there. 1 good advice for non-smokers is to choose a table away from the smoking corner at the back of the shop. Environment was pretty alright even with SG's humid weather. Great place for a nice and not too pricey mookata. Those bigger eaters can go for their buffet at 40/pax There also have a good variety of alcohol choices. Will be back
