Went to House of Seafood White Bee Hoon 2 weeks ago with my family for dinner. Overall, it was a pretty average meal, nothing bad but nothing really stood out either. We ordered quite a few dishes to share. The cereal chicken was okay, slightly on the average side, nothing too memorable. The highlight for us was the crab since it was on promotion at $40. The crab was fresh and tasted good, so no complaints there. We also had a fish dish which was decent, fresh and no fishy smell, so that was a plus. The qing long cai (vegetables) was quite standard, just your usual stir-fried greens. Of course, we had to try their signature white bee hoon. It was not bad, quite comparable to other well-known white bee hoon places if you know what I mean. Comforting and decent but not something I would specifically travel for. Service was alright and the place itself is spacious, good for family dinners with a nice seaside vibe at Punggol Settlement. Overall, it was a decent and average dining experience. If you're in the area and craving seafood or white bee hoon, it’s a reasonable option, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-visit.

Mixed thoughts! First things first — the iced lemon tea was genuinely one of the best we’ve had. Homemade, light, and refreshing with none of that cloying syrupy artificial lemon taste you get at most places. Please never change this! 😋 • The paste chicken was pretty pleasant too — crispy and while the prawn paste flavour was on the subtle side, it was still enjoyable. Now the rest — i'm a huge garlic person but the garlic scallop unfortunately didn’t come together. The scallops were steamed and came out just bland, with the garlic simply scattered on top rather than cooked into the dish. It just felt like 2 separate things on a plate rather than a cohesive dish. • The chilli crab had a sweet starchy saucy gravy — but i guess this is what chilli crab is about. • The sambal sotong was not it. The sotong had that overly springy, injected texture — which for a place known for fresh seafood, it's quite disappointing. On top of that, the sambal sauce was slippery and starchy rather than clinging to the plainly seasoned sotong — a well-marinated sambal rempah should coat and stick. • The sambal fish had a crispy touch & nice fish flavour but SO DRYYYYYYY. Customer service was great though — when flies became an issue, staff proactively placed a fan device nearby to keep them away and consistently checked on us. Small gestures but they go a long way. 👏 Overall the food leaned quite bland. We ended up ordering 3 jugs of iced lemon tea. Though honestly, that’s partly because the food left us parched AND partly because the tea was genuinely just that good. No regrets. 😅🍋 Would come back just for that iced lemon tea though, no hesitation.

Had a company lunch here on a weekday noon. Food was not bad, service was also acceptable, and ambience was bright and roomy. Had the signature Seafood white bee hoon, orh luah, salted egg fried egg tofu, sour fried broccoli, some prawns, egg fried rice, some cereal deep fried chicken. Place wasn't crowded at all, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating. It seems to be halal since u saw many tables of Malays.

Beehoon noodle - Nice Fry rice - only egg no other ingredients. ok ok only Yeo Tiao sotong - Very nice when eat it while it's still hot Give us table, in between walk way and behind us where they gathered the waste and plate. they just dump all the plate with alot of noise and some of the left over food spill out. Saw someone smoke on 2nd floor, just worry he drop ash on our food, I just cough loudly. The smoker saw us and quickly walk. "Not a good place to place a table there" The waiter in "black" - is quite rude. I think they are senior or supe. Their system of ordering got issue and our order comes in 2 sets each. he just dump on our table even i say we order 1 set each but he just walk away. Lucky a waiter in white uniform - settle the issue for us and take back all the extra dishes.

Food is good The man who process my bill after I said I dunno my table number give me an attitude face. Ain’t u know better table seating than me? Even you are busy, u can ask nicely to come back with table number. Also in f&b, little finger nail longer than my hair? Hygiene?
