We were warmly welcomed by the team, especially Miss Nancy and Miss Tui, who kept checking in on us and ensuring that we enjoyed our meal. Their attentive service made us feel very well taken care of. The crab was fresh and delicious — we’ll definitely be back to try the chilli crab next time. The fish was also fresh and flavourful, and we especially loved the sauce. The asparagus with scallops was another standout dish. The pork ribs were tasty, though we felt they could be slightly less saucy. One small suggestion would be to make the seating arrangement a little more spacious by using smaller chairs, as the dining area felt somewhat tight. We also noticed that when another table ordered the whole chicken, the waitress performed a special chicken dance, which certainly added an interesting touch to the dining experience. 😬 Overall, we loved the experience. This has become our go-to restaurant for celebrations, and we always look forward to returning.

Came by House of Seafood at Punggol Settlement for dinner and ordered the white pepper crab (1kg for $80), sambal kang kong, ee fu noodles and prawn rolls. Honestly, the overall quality was a bit underwhelming for the price point. The white pepper crab was decent and probably the highlight of the meal, with fresh enough crab and a peppery kick that was quite enjoyable. The ee fu noodles unfortunately came overly wet and soggy, lacking the usual fragrant wok flavour and texture. Sambal kang kong was also noticeably too oily, which made it harder to enjoy after a few bites. Prawn rolls were alright but nothing particularly memorable. That said, the waterfront atmosphere at Punggol Settlement is still nice for gatherings and group dinners, especially at night when the area gets breezy and lively. Service was acceptable despite the dinner crowd. Captain Le was friendly and attentive - offering good recommendations and efficient service. Overall, paying more for the ambience than the food itself. Crab was okay, but the rest of the dishes did not quite live up to expectations.

I came here in June and was pleasantly pleased with the food and service, especially Auntie Nancy, who is so warm and kind in her service. So now in July I am here again and surprisingly, it was Auntie Nancy again who served me and my wife, she was always approaching us and asking if we are ok and if we needed anything else. Highly recommended!

Visited with some relatives from out of town. Very warm welcome from the front of house manageress, who was friendly in getting us seated and taking our orders. We ate baby squid, steamed prawns, yam ring, mee goreng and one signature chilli crab. The baby squid was delicious although not all pieces were crispy, probably due to the marinade coating. The steamed prawns were generously topped with garlic and very fresh. There were quite large pieces of chicken in the yam ring, which was a plus. The outer layer was also nice and crispy. The mee goreng uses a slightly thicker noodles than what I am used to but it was fine because the overall dishwasher was very tasty. The chilli crab was mouthwateringly good, with plump meat and savoury gravy. The fried mantou we ordered were a little small so I would advise ordering more. This restaurant specialises in crab and they also sell some crab merch as well as have some accessories for your selfies and wefies.
