Came here for late lunch. We decided on Japanese food and was looking for a place not too far from where we were and does not take a break after lunch hours. We were fortunate to get a table for 6 and we ordered 4 bento sets and some sushi. All bento sets came with appetizer, soup and choice of a side. I had the beef bento and I absolutely loved it. It was fresh and perfectly cooked. The salmon sashimi was also very fresh and the wasabi was very good. I also love the hotate side dish. Both the sushi were good but not exceptional. Soup was very good and contains seaweed and tofu in miso. Service is good.

I went with a group of three around noon and found plenty of empty seats available. Two of us ordered the Iberico set meal while one person ordered the salmon set meal. The promo set was quite comprehensive, offering sashimi, chawanmushi, Japanese beans, fried chicken, and a long fish dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here, it was very tasty and satisfying. However, one of the Iberico meat pieces was quite rough in texture, so the restaurant kindly replaced the entire set for us withoutany hassle. Overall, despite that minor issue, the experience was pleasant and the food quality made it worthwhile. However their price is quite overpriced.

My second time there! Well, the foods prepared has been improved (4.5 thumbs up to 5 Stars) compared to 2 years ago. Prices slightly higher than neighbourhoods. If the prices can drop slightly 10%, think there will be more patrons coming in. Overall the foods prepared are all fresh and delicious! Many selections and choices!

Good quality sashimi with generous thick cuts. Small cozy restaurant. Will be back when i need a quick fix for my raw fish craving days.

Shifudo was a fantastic find! The salmon sushi roll was fresh and beautifully presented, the oysters were top-quality, and the 1-for-1 highball special made the evening even better. The Koh-Kun highball was smooth, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the meal. Great food, excellent value, and a cozy atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
