Terrible service and MISLEADING ADVERTISING. 1) the restaurant does not provide napkins. And when asked the staff is rude & gruff about it. And given the price of the dining and type of food (soups and saucy) napkins should be provided. 2) they put up a sign to say join member and get a free drink. But when I sign up for the member they insisted I must spend more money to receive it. 3) icing on the cake is the rude staff’s attitude. Even when confronted with photo ecidence of the free drink they refuse service. Will not recommend. Yuck.

Quite okay wonton noodles, but on the pricey side. We ordered two Jia Xiang mee, with fried wontons and a lo han quo drink, and it all came up to S$25.20. Service was okay, if a little slow.

For those who are wondering what is a local dish that is closely link to the sarawak noodle i would bring ‘minced pork + wanton mee’ as an example. The difference is in the noodle which is more curly like ‘instant noodle look’ and it does not have the conventional chinese egg noodle taste. During covid circuit break phase 2 applaud this stall for still loving the earth and using porcelain bowls for dine in instead of peers who had been converting to disposables.

The QC of this branch should be strengthened. I had black pepper smoked duck kolo mee and dry wanton. The noodle, wanton and smoked duck are quite standard as their other restaurants, but what really kill the taste are the burnt fried shallots and salted fish. The soup given is just pepper and water, which I can taste the water taste instead of a proper soup.
