I was here after 2:15pm and the store was still full of customers. Big shoutout to the staff member, Jazzelle, who managed the floor alone — handling cashiering, cleaning tables and plates, serving food requests, and ushering walk-in guests. Despite the waiting time before I was seated, Jazzelle never seemed frustrated with all the tasks she was handling, nor did she show any bad attitude or tone towards customers (which I unfortunately encountered at Hougang Mall with another floor staff before). Around 3pm, another staff member started his shift and helped with the floor service. He was also helpful and approachable. I was seated around 2:45pm, and the food on the conveyor belt looked like it had been there for quite some time and wasn’t very fresh. However, the taste was still acceptable. You get what you pay for at a Sushi Express-style restaurant. I also ordered the premium sushi plate, which was served chilled, and the quality was quite good. Similar to my past experience at Hougang Mall, I understand there may be manpower and/or budgeting issues when hiring staff. However, please improve the staffing for such a big space, as having only one staff member managing the floor can lead to disappointment with the service. Lastly, compliments should not be taken for granted — keep up the good work, Jazzelle!

Definitely a ideal place for a quick bites and meal before going ahead with your programs. The sushi's are so good! My photos shows how much we enjoyed the food!

visited the outlet on a busy friday. felt the need to write this review after the fantastic dinner experience. i would like to commend jazzell from sushi express for her outstanding service. shes incredibly hardworking, friendly, and attentive to customers. during my visit, she noticed that i was struggling to eat a swiss roll with only a spoon and kindly brought me a fork without me even having to ask. that small act of thoughtfulness and attention to detail really stood out to me. in addition, jazzell is exceptionally proficient at her work, carrying out her tasks with impressive speed, efficiency, and precision. despite being busy, she remained cheerful and approachable throughout. employees like jazzell make the dining experience much more enjoyable, and i truly appreciate her excellent service.

Outlet's deco lifted the Xmas ambience during the festive period. There were also Xmas-themed plates and deco pieces placed on the belt. Enjoyed the dining experience!

My new favourite sushi place, sushi express at heartland mall. Staff are very accomodating expecially Miss hazel who always smile and gives a welcome feels. The place is clean and spacious. I cant count how many times I have visited Sushi Express because their prices are very affordable.. i will recommend this anyone who wants to try great food and value for money..
