Suki-Ya at Heartland Mall Kovan is a Japanese all-you-can-eat shabu shabu restaurant that delivers generous portions, solid quality, and great value. Perfect for groups, families, or casual dinners, Suki-Ya lets you cook fresh ingredients at your table in simmering broth, choosing from two soup bases per pot to suit different tastes. The buffet focuses on unlimited thinly sliced meats like pork and beef that cook quickly and stay tender. Orders are served fresh straight from the kitchen, keeping each serving hot and just right for tasting. Alongside the meats, there’s a self-service station with fresh vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles, rice, and a variety of fish and meat balls — everything you need for a complete hotpot experience. Sauces and condiments are easy to customise, letting you mix soy sauce, sesame, garlic, chilli, and more to match your preferred flavour profile. Most buffet packages also include unlimited soft drinks and simple desserts, offering a satisfying finish to a hearty meal. Located inside Heartland Mall Kovan, the restaurant is easy to reach by public transport and fits well into a casual neighbourhood dining scene. The interior is straightforward and comfortable, designed to accommodate groups without fuss. Prices are affordable compared to premium hotpot spots, making this a go-to choice when you want a filling meal without overspending. Overall, Suki-Ya at Heartland Mall Kovan is a reliable, well-priced shabu shabu buffet with fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere.
View on GoogleStaff is very nice and meat is decent quality for the price. The assortment of veggies, fishcakes and tofu is also nice. I also like the variety of sauces. When I asked if they had any more milk pudding the staff even helped inform me when more was coming out and another staff directly offered the milk pudding they just took out without me even needing to get up again. I come here occasionally and always leave satisfied.
View on GoogleBeen to a few Sukiya outlets in Singapore but by far this outlet the short plate beef is really tough and chewy and it’s so hard to even swallow let alone b bite it through. The beef also have 2 different colours . One was obviously left out in the kitchen for a period of time as the beef has turn black after cooking while the I hope the management can look into this. It definitely isn’t up to a basic standard for a sukiya place. And when we were sitted , we asked the server if the pork was belly slice, the reply was yes. Then when we got the pork, it was loin cut shabu. It was tough as well. I get tht it’s frozen meat but at least have some pride in the food u serve to your customers. Most people dining here are all regulars as I can see and also many kids and family. Felt somewhat disappointed overall. The only commendable thing about this outlet was the staff attentiveness and awareness to customers and the bar food ( topping / refilling ).
View on Googlei like the server called malar, she's very cheerful, friendly, nice and funny ! shes easy to talk to and never fails to make you smileeee 😛 food is yummy and they tend to us fast, the place is also nicely decorated !! i enjoyed my time here very much 💝
View on GooglePleasantly surprised that it is a nice place for dinner… only that pork belly not included in standard buffet pricing , unless top up. Also the desserts, are not replenished. Don’t like to be kiasu but if u like to have them eg. Jelly, then collect earlier.
