I saw the person before me buy tau huay add soya bean milk. I say I want the same for takeaway. The person confirm with me is it add "豆花水", and he really just add 水. Look at the clear tasteless water, that is his idea of 豆花水. Plus they increased price, now $2. Disgusted by the quality of food and service.
View on GoogleVery unpleasant experience. Two young workers were very dismissive during the purchase. We bought more food (which should be a good thing for the business?) and they were trying to shoo us out with curt answers and dismissive replies. They refused to separate the syrup from the beancurd, which we needed as we wanted to share the bean curd with young kids who should have lesser sugar intake. If they were polite about it it wouldn’t have been so frustrating. But they were impolite and looked so grumpy and upset that we ordered more. Food is decent but the service leaves a bad taste in the mouth. If u see the shop being manned by the two young workers, be prepared that your day can be ruined if you order more. Go to the other Selegie bean outlet if you can.
View on GoogleCame here for soybean and youtiao. The youtiao has cooled down, so wasn’t crispy. Ordered hot soybean and it came in plastic cup with plastic straw. I’m not sure how much heat this plastic cup can withstand. But definitely not a good choice in cups!
View on GoogleSelegie Soyabean at Upper Serangoon Road still serves our favorite, authentic soyabean curd and soya drinks. It’s great to see that the stall has undergone some upgrades—it's now brighter and more inviting, with a wider variety of options to cater to younger customers' tastes. In addition to their classic soyabean offerings, they now serve a selection of pastries, adding more variety to the menu. There’s also a small seating corner where customers can enjoy their treats on-site. Overall, it’s still as good as ever!
View on GoogleThe soymilk is smooth and not too sweet, they have other snacks here as well, service staff is good, they are attentive and prompt. Best is you can stop your car at the roadside and hop in and out. Parking is a issue if you drive here on peak hrs!
