This Kopitiam has very good vibes. A lot of old regulars lepak here. The duck rice, vegetarian is famous here. Duck very tender rice big portion. They even have a tender best here. Chicken rice and tze char is not bad too. Kopi abit bland.

I had an unpleasant experience with the drink stall today. When I ordered a takeaway drink, the price was $1.90. My first reaction was simply, "Oh, the drink has increased." I was talking to myself and was not accusing anyone of raising the price. The white-haired aunty immediately raised her voice and insisted that they had never increased the price. I told her, "Aunty, I was just talking to myself, not to you. There's no need to overreact or raise your voice." Unfortunately, she continued arguing loudly. In the end, I just shook my head and walked away. To the kopitiam management, customers do not expect five-star service from a drink stall. What we do expect is basic courtesy, respect, and a reasonable attitude when serving customers. I respect and support our senior Singaporeans who continue working, and I appreciate their hard work but that doesn't grant them the right to have a attitude problem, especially when they are front line workers.

The drinks stall auntie cashier is very rude and argumentative. (Elderly, short white hair auntie). The rest of the staff are fine. I am talking about coffee shop drinks stall at block 703 hougang ave 2, MTF. I will never patronise this drinks stall again unless this auntie cashier is gone. She will bring about the downfall of this stall. I have found many bad reviews just regarding this cashier. If the boss or anyone sees this, please do something about it. Unless she is the boss herself 🤪. I would rather buy from more expensive options e.g. tea from ya kun or toast box or lattes and cappuccino from cafes than to buy from this auntie cashier. Or better, there are also cheaper options out there. I don't find it justifiable to spend even 1 cent at this stall if I have to order from this rude auntie!

I’ve tried the grilled chicken or steak with sides from this stall before and those were great and I’ll definitely get those again. Decided to try something new today but was sorely disappointed. Don’t ever get the marinara pasta from the western stall - the sauce used tastes more like ketchup sauce and it was also very diluted and watery. It made the pasta taste so raw as though there is no flavor. You’re better off making your own from store bought jars. The grilled fish came soggy. It’s those typical frozen kind, nothing to rave about.

Updated aug2022 Tried the noodle stall call 赞不绝口面吧。 tried their mini wok noodle and they are generous with the pork slice and minced meat in the mini wok Noodle ok but quantity is lrss then half a standard bowl size Updated nov2021 Tried the hor fun seafood which was called bbq seafood. Couldnt find their stall on google map. It one of the better local coffeeshop style hor fun seafood i have tried. Sweet and sour was good and their sambal belachan is indeed nice.
