The beef noodles stall has been in this coffee shop for some years although it has changed hands. Used to be better, but the current owner tries to retain its original taste as much as possible. Soup is milder and more diluted, yet retains most its flavour. The cooked beef is tasty and condiments of onion in cinchalok, mild chilli and spicy Thai chili fully complement the beef noodles. At $10 for a bowl of beef noodles soup, including a $3 top up of beef, my stomach is contented and puts a smile on my face

They are selling canned drinks that are not $0.10 SG- registered and charge extra $0.10 telling customers that it is due to the refund policy. When I tried to return the can in the return right machine, it rejected and I was informed by the return right staff that the can is not the correct one. When I tried to get a refund from the drinks stall, the woman said that they are clearing the current batch of old drinks. Told her its still not right to charge customers as they cannot get the refund. She unwillingly returned me the $0.10 and was unhappy.

First occurrence : Morning drinks stall staff serious got anger management issues. Ordered a toast set and didn't even took 3 seconds and the lady loudly snapped in Chinese : DRINKS?!? Second occurrence: Ordered a cold drink toast set and they misheard as two drinks. Then the cashier said snobbishly: How can it be 4 dollars for two drinks?!? What kind of attitude, just add on the set if you wanna sell it, don't have to give this kind of sarcastic attitude. If you're looking to spoil your day, then this is the right place. The Myanmar staffs are better mannered.

Had a bowl of Mala Xiang Guo. Taste good and reasonable price. For me I find it too much water added making it soupy. Other than that meal was satisfying. With 2 bowls of rice cost $17.40.

Typical neighbourhood coffeeshop. The zichar stall is known for its charcoal-heated Fish steamboat. There's a choice of fried fish and fresh fish. They serve red garoupa and pomfret. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more during peak hours. Oyster omelette was not bad. Other stalls include beef noodles, ban mian, western food.
