Authentic Teochew porridge at Heng Long! Smooth porridge paired with flavorful side dishes like braised meats and fresh seafood. Wide variety, generous portions, and great value. Perfect for late-night supper or family meals. Highly recommended!

Always come for Teochew porridge when in the area. Usually will have braised duck meat but just a simple 3-dish dinner today. Braised pig ears because long time no eat - clean, soft and savory + spicy fermented black beans mince meat + my must have salted vegetable.

Guys! Beware if you want to take away food, one paper container for gravy, they charged $2, one rice box they charged you $1 as per the supervisor from China, who was rude and didn’t bother to inform you the price of takeaway containers. Look how much I was being charged and I think the price of the containers was more expensive than the price of the food. Heard that last time the shop was smashed by some gangsters due to overcharging of the fish, well I guess they really deserve it and I wouldn’t patronise this shop anymore.

After a long day at work, nothing hits the spot quite like a comforting bowl of porridge, and Heng Long Teochew Porridge has become my go-to sanctuary. Their porridge water has a light, silky consistency that feels instantly soothing — the kind of simple comfort food that warms you from the inside out. One of the best things about this place is the variety. The spread of dishes is wide enough that I can come back every day of the week and still not repeat the same combination. From classic steamed and braised options to homestyle stir-fried favourites, everything tastes freshly prepared and familiar, like a proper home-cooked meal. The pricing is also very reasonable. Portions and prices correspond to the size and shape of the plate, so you always know what you’re paying for. For the quality, comfort, and consistency they offer, it’s truly great value.

Unpleasant experience by charging overprice!! There is no standard on the charging!! super small portion of sour pork charge for $5 and braised pork for $6 for small little tiny portion. overprice for its quality!!!
