5 stars for One of the best coffee i’ve had! Ordered ice kopi peng siew dai.. the coffee flavor is strong! But not cheap ya though it’s big cup.. ice teh c + ice kopi = $5.20. The popiah stall next door is also very generous with the fillings, and the rojak is yummy with many fruits.
View on GoogleCame for the Simon Rd Hokkien mee and was not disappointed. It was good. But what shocked me was my glass of teh 'o' kosong peng (no milk, no sugar). It appears the kopi uncle charges as he likes cos my drink was $2.20 but the guy who ordered a kopi kau in front of me was charged $1.60. I asked but the uncle just kept quiet n expected me to pay. I may come back for more hokkien mee but will never ever order a drink here again. Be careful when u visit.
View on GoogleI'm surprised! A cup of plain iced tea (Teh O Kosong) costs $2.50 here at a neighborhood coffee shop in Kovan. Even though the cup is larger than what's typically offered at coffee stalls, $2.50 for plain iced tea seems quite high. Other reviews have also noted the expensive drinks sold at this coffee shop in Kovan. We won’t return, especially just for drinks.
View on GoogleHow to feedback ah? Your cleaner short hair auntie damn rude leh. I normally take my own straw because I don't like when people touch my straw because who knows what they touch. I always tell them no need straw I take already. So today ordered 3 drink and took 3 straw. Your cleaner say I take so many straw when I only have 1 drink out of 3 on my hand. Then say I no money to buy straw. Lol. I have plenty. Shes lucky I dont have cash with me or I would have throw the money at her face. Ohh she then goes on touching the whole straw with her hands after she touch the dirty cloth they use to wipe the table.
View on GoogleWithin this kopitiam (eatery) is a Ma La Xiang Guo stall that is pretty good and offers one of the best value for money around. They incorporate spices in their dark-coloured sauce and the taste of ginger was pretty prominent. The dish turned out to be least oily compared to other places' which is a good thing, but hotness/spiciness level is on the lower end.
