We ordered the Cheesecake Biscoff ice after our parents ordered the Mango ice. The credit goes to the cheesecake, which was decent and properly made, although it was slightly frozen. (Some express cheesecakes are bland and don't have enough lemon flavour to balance the rawness of the cheese.) The coconut ice cream on top was acceptable, with a nice coconut aroma and creaminess. However, the disappointment was the shaved ice base. It wasn't snow ice, and it tasted like diluted condensed milk. I assume they simply "showered" watered-down condensed milk over the not-so-fine shaved ice, which made it feel very average and not value for money. Personally, I would prefer an ice kacang in this case. We didn't try the Mango ice that our parents ordered, but they mentioned that the base was the same as ours—shaved ice with diluted condensed milk. I wouldn't order the ice dessert again since the base is the same across the desserts, and the quality wasn't that decent.
View on GoogleA sweet stop around Kovan that dessert lovers shouldn’t miss is Bing Duo Duo Dessert Shop, located near the well-known Simon Road Market statue. Although the prices here are slightly above average for a neighbourhood dessert shop, the quality of the ingredients truly justifies it. The fruits are noticeably fresh and generously portioned, adding natural sweetness and vibrant colours to every bowl. The ice-cream selections are equally delightful — smooth, creamy and rich, pairing perfectly with their signature shaved ice desserts. What makes the experience enjoyable is the balance of textures: fluffy shaved ice, juicy fruits and creamy ice-cream all in one refreshing treat. It’s especially satisfying on a warm Singapore evening after a meal around Kovan.
View on GoogleHighlight was the coconut ice cream. I'm not a big fan of coconut flavour in general, but this scoop was milky, creamy, just sweet enough, and coconut flavour was mild and palatable. Rock melon balls were fresh, portion was great. Shaved ice isn't as fine as those in bingsu -- it's more coarse like traditional ice kachang. Surprisingly, I find myself enjoying the coarse texture, like preferring chunky peanut butter over smooth peanut butter. Coffeeshop is small but not crowded on a midweek night. Not the best ambience due to busy junction really close by and traffic is noisy.
View on GoogleThis is, without a doubt, the worst dessert stall I have ever come across. Honestly, after this experience, I don’t understand how the business is still operating. I ordered their supposedly best-selling Mango Sago and Longan Beancurd, and both were extremely disappointing. Let’s start with the Mango Sago. It was served warm instead of cold. How can a basic mango sago dessert be served warm, especially when you brand yourself as a cold dessert shop (冰多多)? Even if you had simply added more ice, I would have been happier because at least it would have been served cold as expected. Now for the worst part, the Longan Beancurd. It was ridiculously awful. Yes, ridiculously awful. I have to say it three times because that’s exactly how bad it was: ridiculously awful, ridiculously awful, ridiculously awful. The beancurd tasted like it was made from instant soya bean powder premix rather than fresh ingredients. If sourcing proper beancurd is too costly, then don’t open a dessert business. I’ve had soya beancurd from countless hawker stalls, and almost every one of them tasted significantly better than the beancurd served here. Overall, this was a completely disappointing experience. Based on what I tried, I would strongly advise anyone craving dessert to look elsewhere. The quality was far below expectations, and after tasting these two items, I honestly don’t have any confidence in the rest of the menu. Save your money and satisfy your dessert cravings somewhere else.
View on Google⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend this ice cream shop! 🍦 The ice cream here is absolutely delicious with a rich, creamy texture and very fresh taste. Every flavor I tried was amazing, and it definitely makes you want to come back for more. The shop is clean, well-maintained, and has a really nice, relaxing vibe — perfect to hang out with friends or family. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Especially Shamu, he is such a nice and friendly guy who provides great service and makes customers feel comfortable. Really appreciate his attitude! 👌 The prices are also reasonable for the quality you get, so it’s totally worth it. If you love ice cream, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again! ❤️🍦
