Have been passing by this outlet for past 3 years and never stepped inside. Somehow, today just wanted to give it a try. What have I missed! The food were good. We ordered the fried sea bass, signature braised noodles and sesame pork buns. Gosh, sesame pork pun was incredibly yummy! Fish was tasty, and noodles was dishful of nice ingredients, plump oysters and veg. Certainly will be back again with a bigger group to try more dishes!
View on GoogleHad a great dining experience here. We pre-booked a private room, which requires a minimum spend of $600 (inclusive of taxes). The service throughout the evening was excellent, and because the restaurant is located in a quieter, less crowded mall, the atmosphere was very peaceful and we didn't have to wait long for our food at all. The Highlights: Stir-fried Yam: Executed perfectly—just the right amount of caramelization, and light on the palate. Steamed Seabass: Excellent value at $38++ (before taxes). Highly recommended. Claypot Braised Sea Cucumber with Prawn Ball: A generous portion and very well-prepared. Pearl Barley: Refreshing and balanced, as it wasn't overly sweet. Notes: While the majority of the meal was great, the fish maw soup was a little too salty for our preference, and the deep-fried chicken was unfortunately a bit dry. Despite those small points, the quality of the food and the attentive service make this a solid, comfortable choice for group gatherings.
View on GoogleConveniently located in the heartlands of Hougang, Puxian does not disappoint in its value, atmosphere and service. We came for an early dimsum lunch on Saturday morning and the crowd started to flow in shortly after. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample variety of steamed dishes, fried goods and baos that were available, which were all of good portion size. The full-length windows which allowed for great natural lighting, friendly staff and homely vibe provided a great dining atmosphere. Overall a positive experience!
View on GoogleThe foods are excellent, they are tasty, just nice portion and presentable. The service staffs are very friendly and courteous. Been here once which the atmosphere was very nice too but as today there are 3 round tables occupied by birthday celebration, becomes a tad too noisy though. But overall experience is fantastic, definitely will come back again, but hopefully not that coincidental same group of people's for another birthday celebration
View on GoogleCame on a sunday morning and there was no queue. The crowd picks up at lunchtime. Ordered dim sum and the signature braised noodle (note that the lunch menu that starts frm 11am). The truffle mushroom dumplings were surprisingly gd - soft chewy skin, and mouthful of fresh veggie chunks. The siewmai and char siu baos were good too. The braised noodle was yummy and portion was generous - my favourite of today.
