Visit date: 18 Mar 26 Actual rating: 3.0 My #SodiumOverload alarm went off at the first bite! What a way to start as I check out this new venue for grilled pork chops 😆 At first, I thought it was their pepper sauce that was overwhelming. Upon tasting a section of meat which wasn't covered with gravy, the answer became apparent... They had overly brined the meat 😞 It's so super salty that the after taste isn't bearable👎 Yucks! On the plus side, the pork was very tender. The texture was akin to a medium done beef steak 😋 However, it wasn't bone-in as advertised. I got served what looked like a pork steak, instead of the usual 2 thin pieces common with coffee shop Western stalls. A tad disappointed, for sure. Their coleslaw was extreme for me -- super tangy that I'd had to eat each slice of pork with some of that purple cabbage to reduce the sourness!! This turned out to be a "torture" meal for me, sadly. It could well have been yummy. So, I'm hopeful there is room for change as a simple recipe tweak is all that's needed 🤔

Craving pasta, we searched around our area and came across this hawker stall on Google Maps. The reviews looked promising, so we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be both affordable and surprisingly good—café-quality food at hawker prices. Definitely a spot we’d return to, especially to try more items on the menu next time.

I didn’t expect to find one of the best pasta dishes in a humble coffeeshop, but here we are. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing, sauce was rich, creamy and perfectly balanced. What impressed me was the consistency and heart behind the dish. It’s something the chef takes pride in. Good food doesn’t always come from fancy places. Sometimes. It’s tucked away in a simple coffeeshop, made by someone who genuinely loves what they do. Definitely worth coming back for.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and was thoroughly impressed! The grilled chicken set was juicy and tender, served with black pepper sauce, crispy fries, savory mantou, and fresh coleslaw — super satisfying. The bolognese pasta was rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. But the highlight was their unique mushroom tortizza — a crispy tortilla pizza loaded with cheese, mushrooms, and drizzled with creamy sauce. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and everything was served hot in stylish metal pans. Service was friendly and fast too. A fantastic place for a casual, hearty Western-style meal. Will definitely be back!

Tried various mains and for the price is really worth it. Pizza is with thin crust which is ideal for sharing and won’t worry about overeating. Fish and chip is fried on point which retain the tender moist texture. Chicken chop grilled on point which gives crisp on the surface and yet tender. Overall my family enjoys the food and glad to support local young F&B biz.
