That "visual attraction" is real. 👀 Was scouting for dinner at Hougang Central when I saw someone walking past with a bowl of fishball noodles from Seng Huat Mushroom Minced Meat Handmade Fish Ball Noodle. The sheer size of the fishballs stopped me in my tracks. Naturally, I ordered a Mee Pok Dry (just fishballs) to go. While the fishballs lived up to the hype—perfectly oversized and wonderfully bouncy—the noodles didn't fare as well in the packet. They got a bit too dry and didn't absorb the savory sauce. Lesson learned: next time, I'm eating there on the spot. But if you love a good, bouncy handmade fishball, this place is definitely worth checking out! #SengHuatFishballNoodle #HougangCentral #HougangFood #FishballNoodles #MeePok #HandmadeFishballs #SgHawker #SgEats #SgFoodie #SingaporeFoodie #SgFoodPorn #Dabao #SupportLocalSG #ComfortFood #LocalEats #mealsphotos

I was disappointed with my visit to this dessert shop. The soya beancurd was just average and lacked the smooth, fresh texture and rich soybean flavor I was expecting. More concerning was the glutinous rice balls—they were not fully cooked, with a hard, doughy center that made them unpleasant to eat. I hope the shop improves its quality control, as serving undercooked food is not acceptable.

In particular, why the Bak Chor Mee standard dropped to the drainage? Sometime, F&B dying, perhaps it is because of the human behind it. That long gone sincerity towards the Food. The mixture of tossed simply only Vinegar, no layer nothing. The Bee Chai Bak is under cook and cold even she is doing it front of me. Asked for no livers, perhaps you should auto incurred add on of mince? Or I've to asked? I understand food cost inflation. But this approach won't drive you else where. I was .... Was enjoying your bowl of noodle since 18 years ago.

Bak chor mee hits the right notes in a sauce mix of pork lard, vinegar chilli and some ketchup. Meepok tasted slightly sticky likely from the water blanching the noodles, liver sliced very thin but luckily not overcooked, pork lard can be improved. Coffeeshop is bright and airy. The cleaner helped me clear my tray shortly after I finished my meal, nice uncle!
