Yuan Ji is opening new branches at an incredible speed, and so far, the quality has stayed quite consistent! The soup base is served piping hot, but the real magic lies in their famous spicy sauce. Food aside, the food court was a bit stuffy and the ventilation wasn't very good when we visited.

A greenery theme food court with pretty good food selection. Dinning area is quite cramped. As usual, weekend and meal hours are usually packed. Had tried Boon Heng Roasted delight. Food was pretty good. Hey LuLu dessert was so so. Will come back to try other stores.

17th May 2026 19:50pm. Hougang mall 4th level Foodies Garden. One uncle taking care of distributing folk and spoon to the stall. Drop some spoons on the floor at Wei Shau stall. He pick up and place at his trolley 2nd level. Then distribute the first level. After finished the first level he took those drop on the floor at 2nd level and distributed to the stall Yuen Kee.

Tried this individual plating store once and probably won’t go back 😅 Food was quite oily, portions were small, and it felt overpriced. Easily $10-15 per meal. Can just order cai fan! On the other hand, the dumpling noodles beside is worth eating!

The garden or forest decor is nice and unique and the dining environment is comfortable for a food court. There’s a lot of stalls that has closed down in the food court recently so there’s quite a lot less selection. The food stalls in here are also mostly rather average.
