Queued for 35min, orderd $4 mee pok dry... They are low on supply of pork lard. Noodle: average Soup: excellent Pork slice: excellent Fish ball: excellent Amount for money: superb Unlike others I don't find their noodle to be particular impressive, it was a bit overcooked so lack the bite, the samba chili was also average, not much kick. However the soup was simple yet amazing. Midly sweet and you can pair it with the noodle to elevate the noodle. Pork slice was also the most tender one i have. Two large fish ball was also among the most boucy and Q one. At $4 my transport is actually more expensive than the meal but I was so filled. The aunties looks very happy to be doing what they are doing enjoying the moment. And they stop taking customers before 11am on a weekday morning so please manage your expectation.
View on GoogleTried the noodles here super early (pre-7.30am) and waited just 20mins 🍜. $4 for a huuuge portion loaded with ingredients? 👏🏽 Black sauce noodles were spot on! Value for money #NoodleLove #ValueForMoney #SGFood
View on GoogleOld-school fishball minced meat noodles run by two friendly elderly aunties. Available dry or soup, both taste great. Fishballs are bouncy and they’re generous with pork lard. Simple, comforting, and satisfying.
View on GoogleCame by for breakfast, joined the queue patiently. Ordered $5, mee kia dry with chilli. Ordered came with fishballs, minced meat, lean meat, sliced fish cake, baby romaine and XXL size pork lard. Noodle is well cooked, springy. Their dry version is doused with vinegar, mixed with their chilli making it a savoury, sour and spicy combination of goodness. Fishball and fishcake is more on the firm springy side. The bowl of soup has plently of minced meat which is well seasoned, however i do not taste similar on the lean meat slices. There is also a good portion of veggies. I am never a fan of pork lard, but was attracted by the size and amount added in the bowl. Did I finished all, yes! The lady boss is always so warm and friendly!!
View on Google21 Jan 2026 04:30AM no queue. Friendly auntie greet with a smile $4 mee pok. 2 big fish ball. 4 thick slice fish cake, 3 large slice lean meat. Portion was quite big. Taste of the sauce average. Pork lark was the show. Not the dry type.
