Tried their Huxulao curry noodles due to the promotion. Went there with not much expectation but ended up eating nearly everyday. Taste wise is rich in coconut milk, with chili for added kick. The ingredients is also really a lot with different variety e.g. Pig skin, hum, char siew, roast pork, with some calamsi sauce and mint leaves. Delicious! Look at how clean I finished the bowl, nearly drank everything. Actually the price at $8.8, is still acceptable.

Tried the Signature Curry Noodle ($6.80) from Hu Xu Lao and it definitely hits the spot. The bowl is packed with a generous amount of ingredients, including crispy roasted pork (sio bak), sweet char siew, and perfectly soaked tau pok that absorb all the rich curry goodness. What makes it unique is that it's served with a fresh stalk of mint leaves and a spoonful of lime juice. Mixing the lime juice and the mint into the hot broth really cuts through the richness and beautifully enhances the aromatic flavor of the curry, which is not too thick. A solid bowl of curry noodles if you're in the area!

First time trying because the Hu Xu Lao Curry noodles with siew yoke and hum enticed me. Looking at my picture you will know that I started eating before I remembered taking a pic - that's how good it is. The reason for the 4-star review though, is that the siew yoke is not crispy and the hum was rubbery. If I could choose what to have in my curry noodles, I would be in heaven with crispy siew yoke, juicy hum, pork rinds that soak up the curry, and steamed chicken - they don't have the option to customise. That said, i probably will be back.

Ordered the $8.8. At first i just need small $6.8 curry signature noodles but saw the picture the see hum very nice tot can just add the see hum. But not very fresh. Curry is watery style. I feel its better with chicken than roasted pork. But wouldn't eat again first its not near and don't think its that good.

It’s a Malaysian style and taste of curry noodles . Filled with roasted pork , char Siew , taupok, fried tauki and cockles $8.80. You can still add on fried ingredients. Prices is high but Nice 👍 been here a few times . They stopped selling Horfun.
