Overall if you think Bong Tong Kee is just an ordinary neighbourhood restaurant, you might be underestimating it. Their chicken was tender and juicy, the flavour was rich, and it tasted great with the ginger and chilli sauce. As a Tze Char spot for family gatherings or meals with friends, the food quality was very consistent. Definitely a place I would come back to.

I have only just realised that Boon Tong Kee sells more than just chicken rice. The dishes were pretty good too.

When there during weekdays, around 12pm. Not yet crowded, 20-30% of the table been used. Aft we place order, the food came within 10min. They provide side dishes first, upon waiting for the main dishes (of cos, the side dish is also payable xD ).. Drinks, we ordered Hot Tea, the kettle is re-fillable..

This boon tong kee has been around for a while, and over the years, it has always delivered delicious, family oriented dishes at affordable prices. They are also well known for their chicken and chicken rice. They also do reunion and new year dinners, with great varieties in their sets each year, catered for 6 and 10 people. Would recommend if you are in the area for a family dinner or just grabbing a quick bite. While not cream of the crop, their food has never failed to disappoint. 8/10~

My father in law came to Singapore. Had a lovely lunch at this nice restaurant with air-conditioning. The food is wonderful! It's a great place for a nice family meal!
